I can think that cheating on my taxes, speeding and beating my wife is not only acceptable but I could have dozens of "good" reasons for doing it and I may get away with it my whole life. That doesn't mean it is really OK. Consider this... If you think there is a God and there is a Devil and they hate each other then you can only expect that your enemy would spread whatever mis-information possible. For those who have been divorced or had a very bad breakup, you could never expect that the person who knew you intimately and then grew to hate you would say a word of truth about you. And if they really hate you, they would start a smear campaign to dis-credit you in every aspect of life. So the God of love, tortures people who don't agree with him. A God who starts life and supports life somehow promotes death in order to be with him. And the devil somehow becomes his advocate to help punish the wrong doer. So death doesn't become the end of life, death becomes a transition of life in one form, to life in another form. And since death has gone from the simple non-existance it really is to a transition, this makes sin un-important. It really comes down to a choice between doing wrong and enjoying it or using the salvation loophole and still being able to sin and enjoying it. There are dozens of untruths that are promoted by people who claim to know the bible and love God. But the fact is most of them have been repeatedly corrupted. It does not require a degree in thology to understand the Bible. It requires an open heart and a "sighing and groaning" over the condition of the world. In short, everyone thinks they are doing the right thing and that by itself doesn't make it right to God. He has given the handbook, and each person has to answer for their application of the guidlines contained in it.

The preface explains IMPORTANT POINTS about how the bible is layed out and HOW TO READ and UNDERSTAND the use of #1 words in all caps, #2 words in italics, #3 words in brackets, and most importantly every bible should explain how the one and only name of GOD is translated in that version. rj if you are still here and there is anything that I haven't already addressed, please let me know. So since I am so wrong on what Col 1:15 says, what does it mean when it says that Jesus is the Image of God the Firstborn of all creatures? See the whole bible is accurate and without conflict. But he also had 2 other parts of himself that he could split off and they could do what he told them or talk to him or pray to him or ask for his guidance. But these other parts of himself are still God. One day God and his other 2 personalities create humans and the humans tick him off so he punishes them with eternal torture. Apparently God has made a deal with his sworn enemy Satan, so that any of God's bad kids that have listened to Satan get sent to his place to be tortured.
