I'm in the process of locating your exact translation. When was it published and is it the "Open" bible? Make sure you read each scripture you have quoted and check to make sure you have the right understanding in context. We will discuss this fully once I get your same bible. I have a NASB but it is not by Nelson.

I'm curious why you would come out of the gate rejecting one of the most obvious evidences of the 2 being different. In fact the scripture you quoted in no way shows that Jesus is God. It says he is a Mighty God. Which he is. But almighty God, he is not. As we go thru these verses you will be shown that there is a difference. As an illustration... our local grocery store sells "Presidents Choice" products. Needless to say, if someone simply looks at the label, they will be told it's Presidents Choice and immediately one could imagine that the president of the united states chose this. But a logical person would reason that such is not the case. Then they could imagine that some other president, such as a company president, chose this product. Which if the label is true at all, is much closer to reality. In the end, the label on the product gives no indication which president made the choice. Similarly, if you actually read the scripture, you will see that it makes no claim that Jesus is Almighty God. Or that that they are the same or that they are equal to each other or that the Holy Spirit is equal to either. Even "eternal father" and "prince of peace" give no indication that Jesus is Almighty God. Jesus became mankinds father when he provided a ransom for them. They were at that time allowed to be "born again" because of his sacrifice. So yes he has eternal life and he is mankinds father. You should also see that a prince is lower than a king. A prince is ALWAYS subordinate to his father. Why was he not called the King of peace? Because he is subordinate to his father, Almighty God. But... Before I really begin, I would like to know who the printer is of the translation you use. For example Tyndale or Zondervan etc. I ask because there is most likely information in the preface or the appendix that is NOT available on the free online version and it will be necessary for you to read it in your own bible to show what the translators were actually translating and that it's not just something I dreamed up. And if I don't have the same version in print already, I would like to get one.

rj... I agree with everything except this... Who was it? God or Jesus? I hope you don't think I'm splitting hairs here. I feel that the actual identity of God is a major doctrinal issue. So please use scritpures to substantiate your beliefs. I've dealt with these guys and others {alzheimers setting in right now } and would be happy to recommend them to do biz with. Like I've said before, the guys who post here alot can be trusted. You just gotta be careful with the new guys. Make sure you get pics of the stuff that is being sold/traded, get a HOME phone number and do a reverse directory search to get the persons name who lives there. If it doesn't mathc up, you gotaa wonder if they're legit'.

It's the throttle cable with the built in cap. I'm not sure what brand it is 'cause the label is missing. But it says Marshall on the bag. Not sure if that's the maker or not.

The 250R cable is brand new in package. The Predator hub is 4-156 aluminum. Also like new. It WILL NOT fit banshee splines. $15 each or trade for just about anything. I'm also looking for Banshee large pattern rear hubs.

I kind of figured it was a carb issue. I'm looking forward to getting it running well. It is a 1980 Passport 70 and only needs a few things to really look like new. There's only a couple minor rust spots on it from a couple rock chips in the paint. Otherwise it looks like new. It's been aound 15 years since my last 70cc Honda. I still say my old atc90 was one of the funnest machines I've ever owned.

I should be able to get it apart for you. Or you can try to drill out the screw from the OPPOSITE side from the screwdriver end. I sent you an email.

I just bought a HOnda CT70 scooter from a guy I went to grade school with. It's in really graet shape and doesn't have hardly any miles. But the friggin thing will run at idle just great and then all of a sudden it will rev up to about 1/2 throttle for about 2 minutes and then it will gradually go back to idle and then almost stall and then after about 10 minutes, it will do it all over again. Is that an air leak? Or float height not right?

Congratulations rj, you have shown yourself to be a real student of the bible. Your replies are concise and the added scriptures back up you line of thought. I would like you to clarify a couple things you said and perhaps ask a few more questions. #1- I didn't really get the direct answer I was hoping for but I think you are saying that in (1 John 2:1-2) 2 My little children, I am writing YOU these things that YOU may not commit a sin. And yet, if anyone does commit a sin, we have a helper with the Father, Jesus Christ, a righteous one. 2 And he is a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins, yet not for ours only but also for the whole world's. you are saying that we have come to be indebted to God because of our sin. We have a debt to him because we have not lived up to his perfect standards and so when we fail, we are indebted. Do we agree on that? I liken it to a speeding ticket. If we obey the law properly, no ticket. If we don't obey the law properly, we owe. And I agree that the only way we can re-gain god's favor is because of the sacrifice of Jesus. My question then is... why do you think Jesus had to die to pay the debt to God? Is there some other way for God to be paid. Or why couldn't God have just looked at the suffering offspring of stupid Adam and give them a fresh start? I, of course, have much more to say about the rest of the comments you made and I am not avoiding them in any way. I would just like to take this one step at a time instead of trying to address 14 topics at once. I look forward to your reply. one more thing... which translation do you prefer again?
