It all makes sense now... Dugald sitting there in the pub, his beer running low and his pockets are empty. He sees the guy next to him looking the other way and he pours some of the other guys beer into his. He then realized how smoothly the world could run if you could get someone else to pour beer in your glass while you swallow the beer you just drank. You could do twice as much drinking if all you had to do was put the glass on the bar. The 2 stroke engine was born.

Don't send him NOTHIN' until you get your money or whatever the deal is. Hate to get screwed out of your stuff and the money. The builder is making you feel guilty about him not doing his job. How is he out anything? He get's his ported stuff back {no big deal just sell it to the next guy} and you get nothing but months of aggravation. All in all, it would have been best if he just did what he said he would do and not tried to rip you off at the same time. Remember he charged you $200 more than his advertised price. Make sure you get that back too.

I've got a complete set that is as like new as you are ever going to find. But they ain't gonna be cheap. I also have a couple gold "rock hoppers" around but they are so beat that I'm sure you don't want 'em.

Instead of making a new post, I just wanted to add a thumbs up for Mark Chapman. Great guy to deal with. I sent parts to him based on a trade we were working on but the trade didn't work out. So he paid my asking price for the parts with no questions asked. Top notch BHQ member.

As much as this kind of thing sucks, you will do nothing but make yourself even more angry by trying to get even with this guy. Call the Better Business Bureau and show them your invoice and the work that was done/not done. They will probably do nothing about it. Next time, don't be so trusting. and as mad as you are about it all, be happy you got your parts back.

Who is your service provider and how good is the reception? Are the buttons rubber or hard plastic?

The banshee forks have a pin that fits into the shift drum. The RZ forks have a small bearing on the pin so it rolls in the shift drum groove instead of sliding in the groove. They say it's a much smoother shift.

Here's my suggestion... Start a list here anyway. If you are going to put it on eBay you'll still have to list the stuff. Besides that, some folks don't know they want something until it's set out in front of them. How much do you want for the RZ top end? Is it ported? What bore is it on?

I can only afford about $50 right now unless you want to trade for something.

Does anyone use a PDA phone like the Treo 650 or the Kyocera 7135 or whatever it is? I have US Cellular. I'm finding that I need a PDA and I hate the phone I have. It works good but it's too friggin small for my old un-coordinated self to use easily. I almost wish I still had my old school brick phone

Should be easier unless you went to a wider axle or different tires.

Run good oil, keep your air filter clean and avoid deep water and mud. That should do it.

You might have a hard time selling those "nanshee" tie rod ends
