  1. Because I said that I had one the last time you asked and after I couldn't find it, you said you got one. Then I found mine... so it's sitting here.
  2. The rebuild is $15 and you pay to ship it to me. For out of the US it's $20. The best thing to do is... Email me... [email protected]
  3. I would never run a straightened axle. The fatigue on the metal is irreversable even if the axle is "straightened". I would especially not ride on an axle that was bent during jumping. In my opinion an axle bent during jumping was already weak and should be rejected. I have asked for bent axles myself to practice some things with but I will NEVER ride on a "repaired" axle and I would shy away from buying a used axle too because it's one of the most critical parts for your safety.
  4. Weren't you looking for this before?
  5. It's packed up, Priority Mail confirmation number 01038555749390832110 I will drop it off at the Post Office on Tuesday.
  6. Blaster rims are about as cheap as you will getbut you need to use Blaster hubs. I have a set of rims and hubs that I will trade for something or sell them to you. Send me an email... [email protected]
  7. The inner sleeve will move to the side, but if the bearings have been squeezed tight to it then you will need to force it aside. One thing you could do is drill a 1/4" hole in the side of your carrier and use a smaller punch in the hole to drive it to the side. When you're done, you can install a grease fitting in the hole. When you get the sleeve out, drill a 1/4 inch hole in it too so that when you grease it in the future, some grease can get to the axle and make it easy to get out.
  8. I'm pretty sure I have at least 1 but I'm not sure I want to sell mine. Where am I gonna get one if I need it. How much are they going for now?
  9. Think about this for a sec... you are riding down a gravel road with the windows of your car wide open. Then you take down the convertable top and continue riding. Which one is harder for you to breathe? The intake takes in the same amount of air in either case and since the air is full of dust, the dust is going to either get stuck to the filter or go thru it. The only way for less dust to get to the filter is to choke off the amount of air getting to the filter which will in turn choke off the engine. My point is, don't worry about "more dust", worry about a clean filter. You will find that your engine will breathe much better and you will enjoy the performance improvement. The next thing you need to do is get rid of those crabs
  10. In all the years I've driven in Chicago traffic, I've never heard a better description of driver attitude. I will say one thing tho... Chicago drivers don't use the horn nearly as much as they do in NY and its surrounding areas. I think horns blowing all the time would be enough to push us over the edge.
  11. Other guy... Hey, can I take your quad for a ride? Me... ( I look down at the ground for a second as I slowly wag my head side to side and roll my eyes. Then look him straight in the eye with the look of complete disgust on my face)... Dude there is just no way that's ever gonna happen. If he doesn't reply with an immediate reply of "Hey no problem" or "Hey I understand" then I will be forced to show him how well Bandits grip on loose gravel all over him. The lastime I let someone ride my banshee it ost my insurance co over 5grand.
  12. This HQ member is looking for 28's or 30's... [email protected] Awesome guy to deal with too.
  13. I want at least 2 but I'd like one of them to be a Bansheeworx flywheel. I think it would be great to compare the 2. Back in the day there was about a 12 page discussion on flywheels. I've always wanted a Bansheeworx "fully" lightened one for my 99 but I also want a lightened one for my 95. I have 2 spare flywheels and the 2 that are on the banshees.
  14. GYTWYPT... I have one I'll trade you too. I've been wanting lightened flywheels for my banshees for years and it's amazing how things turn out if you just wait a while. BHQ ROCKS
  15. The best thing to do is send it to me. The old posting had spring numbers and some directions but those springs are no longer available at hardware stores. You will need a dremel, either a carbide bit or a metal grinding bit, the springs, a new ball, and the right allen screw. If you don't already have that stuff, you are better off just having me do it. Send me an email... [email protected]
  16. It's blk02banshee I brought his posting to the top. Heck yeah you could do a midwest "meet the HQ" tour. Come by my place on your way to southern Wis.
  17. You want the white painted ones? If so, you might as well get yours blasted and powder coated. Otherwise, paint them with appliance epoxy paint available at any hardware store.
  18. Holyman

  21. This is one of the most infuriating things that the crooked politians have dreamed up. They can take your home for ANY reason as long as the morons on some board agree that you should lose your home or property. There was an old guy {80+} that I used to buy hardwood from. He had a family farm that they wanted to re-route the highway thru. They broke his land up into 1acre lots and where ever the proposed road and the setbacks touched ANY PART of a 1 acre square, he was REQUIRED to sell that acre. So even if the roadway touched a 6inch corner of the acre, he lost it. They took almost 20 acres. They offered him "market value" for the "farm" land at $10,000 per acre which is less than 1/3 of what developable lots are going for in the area. So an 80 year old guy who payed taxes his whole life got screwed out of $300,000.00 and his family farm that has been in his family for over 100 years now has a road running thru it and the politians will sell it off to developers for millions.
  22. Miles wise, it's not many. Time wise about 30 to 45 minutes.
  23. He doesn't need a crank, just the cases. Send me an email... [email protected]
  24. I didn't get the pic yet just in case you tried to send it. Here's the address again... [email protected]
