Sounds lean to me Loco! If it takes that long to take RPM´s down + a tingy sound, I´d say lean.

In my opinion they are ok, but it may do a little better with a smaller carb´s. My friend has a stock cylinder, stock stroke Banshee. K&N filters, 34PJ´s, VF3´s, PD coolhead with 20cc domes, +4 timing and Toomey T5´s. No porting, but it runs good. 48 pilots, N8RE (KTM) needles, 152-160 mains.

What carb´s? Are the pipes only mod you have done?

"Boyesen Power reeds" are replacement reeds. The bottle on top of the intakes is a boost bottle - it´s a no no. If you have a 4mm stroker crank and un ported cylinders, you will find way more power if you get those cylinders ported. Do you have a list of parts what Magic´s Racing used?

I´m not sure, but is that stock head milled? I think it can´t hurt anything, if you measure your squish also after it´s back together.

Does it have a stock head or aftermarket head?

How much money you have? If you go 4mill, it is wise to get your stock cylinders ported for longer stroke. Alot of people says that a "box stock" 421 Serval runs good and even better with a porting.

Thank you Cam and Radar. I told the guy, that I will take them. I sold my T5´s, so I just need pipes with silencers. Money is an issue right now, and that set is 150,- + shipping, so I can´t say no.

Shell V-Power 99+(ron) is 93.4 PON. I have asked this from Shell. Our regular 98 (ron) is minimum 93.2 PON. This is from Neste-Oil. I live in Finland. Some 2-stroke sled racers told me not to use Shell V-power in my Banshee, because the special shit they put in it will make some build ups on top of the pistons and exhaust. I have 20cc domes with 198/75% exhaust in my ss/sc motor and it works good. My other friend has un-ported ss/sc motor with T5´s and he has also 20cc domes. Works really good with our 98. Hope this helps.

I had a RD/RZ350 and I loved the bike. YPVS makes it a little easier to ride on the streets, but that´s about it. What you have now? ..and why are you considering swapping the motor? Performance?

Good to hear you got it rigth. I had this same issue and it was lean from the mains.

We use metric here and we can buy oil in 1L bottles. 2.5% where I aim it. About 2.5-3% works for me just fine.
