  1. My DIY "drag seat" weights 1290g (2.84 lbs), I think it can be modded a little lighter, closer to 2.2 - 2.3 lbs. It´s aluminium, 40mm foam + "imitation leather".
  2. Factory stock seat 7lbs 6oz. (3340g)
  3. Stock tank with dual pingle is about 2,2kg. That's close to 4,5 lbs.
  4. One thing to keep in mind. Domes! My friend had a domes cut for race-gas in his 421CUB. I ordered new domes for him to go back to pump-gas. The motor made 3 horses more with pump-gas. What I´m trying to say is, pick your domes from a good builder. I´m not trying to say, that pump-gas is better than race-gas.
  5. I´m not a pro, but I would do it again with same main jet´s. Make sure, your motor is warmed up good. Also try to find a good place to make that run. = long enough.
  6. Not 100% sure, but they looks like PowerPro´s. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=168972
  7. My advice is - listen your motor. I have been anything between 158 to 175 in winter.
  8. My friend has unported stock cylinders, K&N filters, VF3´s, +4 timing, 20cc domes in PD head, T5 pipes and 34PJ´s. His jetting is 158-162 mains, 48 pilots. I can´t remember his needles, but they are KTM factory needles out of 36PWK´s. It runs good. CEL or CEK didn´t work with him. The KTM needle is richer down low comparing to CE* needles. What I´m trying to say is, your 34´s will do fine, you just need to jet them good. Start rich in mains and take your time.
  9. I have the same Sand Sharks. They work OK for me when I do some hill climbing on a rough sand. Better than knobby tires.
  10. I´m not a 100% sure, but Fatties and T5´s are close in power and rpm range. T6 may be the best for you, if you are not porting your cylinders in a near future. You can get your stock head milled for a little more compression and you can mod your stock timing plate to advance your timing few degrees. You can also open up your stock reed cages if you have a Dremel. Better air filter makes a difference too. Remember to check your jetting after mods. Next guy will ask how much money you are willing to loose.
  11. In my opinion (not a Banshee expert), your gearing is off like you said. With your pipes, you should make enough power to take that 450 down a little easyer. I have 20x11 v-paddle tires on 10" black labels and I have power around 65. I can turn them easy with 14-41 and 15-42. You should do the same. (just my opinion)
  12. I think that´s a short rod. But like hazzard said above, flip it over and check the numbers.
  13. Also ad a new clutch on your list and maybe a billet basket.
  14. Are both sets on 8" wheels, or are those 4snows on 9´s? My advice is, if you have test&tune time, try both ways. Usually you need to run them "opposite" direction, but sometimes you need to go deeper and they may do better on the "arrow" direction. I have ProWedges on 8x8 wheels and my friend has 4snows on 9x9 wheels. His bike hooked harder on looser dirt. We both run them "opposite" direction", we didn´t have time to test them as designed direction on that track. (sorry my bad english) oh, and I like my ProWedge2 tires, but I´d like to try 9 or 10" wide wheels with them.
  15. IF I can remember right the stock front wheels are 5.5" wide. That´s about 140mm. I have seen 130/80, and 130/70 tires on stock wheels. If the wheel is 5" wide, you can go 120/70 or 120/80 or anything between. I have 4"wide 10" wheels and I have 100/80-10 scooter tires on them. Small!
  16. I may have a buyer for these, but first I need to know are you willing to ship them to Finland? Thank you! -Pasi S.
  17. ^^^^ what they said. 100km/h is not much. What size tires you are using? I did more than 100km/h with a bone stock banshee with stock 14-41 gearing and 20" holeshot tires on dirt.
  18. I´m not a Banshee Expert. Quote from SandSlingers: Posted 15 June 2013 - 10:10 AM It really depends on the engine set up. For example on my personal 4 mm cub inframe vs drag is almost 10 hp difference but on my 350 inframes are 3 pk hp better and also have 500 rpm more usable power. So there really isn't a direct answer. I will tell you that both pipes are completely different and require very different engine setups. I could give you some advice if you want to tell me your setup or you could call me..
  19. In my opinion BHQ has alot of good and helpfull people. You just need to find out who they are. I have used search here and Google search (xxxxxxxxxxx bansheehq) almost everyday to learn something new.
  20. You can have a 110mm rod, stock 54mm stroke. Or you can have stock 54mm stroke with 115mm long rod. 4mm stroker, 58mm stroke you can have 110mm stock lenght rod or a long rod 115mm. Do what camatv told you and measure the stroke from a plug hole. Measure squish also.
  21. My motor is ported and tuned for 11kHz and 113dB.
  22. My +6 stock style.
  23. Fuck me, you can get 110 race fuel cheaper than our 91 pump shit. That´s just wrong!!
  24. Like J-madd said above, different gearing may help. My bike liked 13-42 with 22x11-9 Maxxis Razr 2 rear tires. Thay are also heavy 6ply tires.
