  1. Halloween is coming fast. 6 weeks and counting. Whos heading to dumont?
  2. Sprockets are cheap, try a few and see what feels right. I have a 4 mil stock cylinder hjr dune port. I ride nothing but sand with 15/40 and pull it just fine. I weigh 240 lbs too. Cub should have no problem with taller gearing
  3. I've used motion pro and streamline. Motion pro is easier to find extra cables for. Streamline feels smoother and the kit is $20 cheaper than motion. Streamline also comes with a braided cable. It doesn't take very long to get used to a twist, especially if you rode dirt bikes. Everybody either hates them, or loves them. I personally will never own a quad without a twist. Just my opinion
  4. PM sent on some filters alfie.
  5. Any advantages to using these? I have a stock piped bike and a 4 mil
  6. No markings or #s stamped on them. Bolt holes line up with the banshee. Anyone have pics of vf2 cages? They don't look like vf3's either
  7. Bought a box of parts a while back. Found these cages and have no idea what brand they are. Any help is welcome.
  8. It would still run if the compression is low. Start with easy stuff
  9. Make sure you put the right slides in the right carbs. They will go in the wrong carbs backwards. The half moon cut out at the bottom of the slide should face the rear or the bike. If you pull the air filter off, you can look into the back of the carbs. Hopefully its something simple. Good luck, post again if it isn't the prob
  10. Is the rear shock sprung for the extended swinger? If so, what length is it? Thanks
  11. I've got the ultimate mod to make you faster. And it won't cost you anything but some gaskets. First off, pull the exhaust, carbs, and cylinders. Then turn the cylinders backwards. Intakes facing forward, exhaust back. Reassemble accordingly. The new design will force air into the intake side like a supercharger. You might have to modify the pipes to fit. If it works the way I'm hoping, you'll beat that bastard 300ex. Keep us posted
  12. Get ready to spend some money. Too many good ideas on here.
  13. I just bought a set. Should have them installed by the end of the weekend. Carb parts warehouse(CPW) makes them. They use keihin internals and jets
  14. Try all of the great ideas, but please film yourself doing it.
  15. Yesterday I heard BLM suspended all upcoming races. This is going to turn into a shit storm. Environmentalists are going to use this as an excuse to shut down all of our desert. No one in desert racing is in this for money. We all do it because we love it. No one hears about these races until something bad happens.
  16. Great guy to deal with. Shocks were received as described, packed good, and shipped quickly. Thanks
  17. I have a front master cylinder and lever. PM me if interested
  18. Yeah, what he said
  19. Been running 2R in the bike since 02, never even fouled 1 plug. When I built my 4 mil, top end was 4 years old and still had cross hatch marks. Everyone likes what they like. I love the smell of 927, but will never run castor oil. Seems to sticky. I'll stick to the yamalube.
  20. Where are you located?
  21. As long as you have the power to pull it, I haven't noticed any issues. Plus you can pull each gear a little longer. Cheap mod, play around with different sizes to see what you like.
  22. I run 15t on both of my bikes. Works great for a little extra speed. If you have a case saver, make sure it will accept a larger sprocket.
  23. Most of the site sponsers should have them. Stock carbs should be around 200 mains. Try 240 and go from there. Elevation /temp also make a difference
