  1. Great guy to deal with. Fast shipping. Thanks
  2. You've been a member on here since 03. How long has it been since you owned a banch?
  3. Head nuts torque to 20 ft lbs. Not sure how important the breather is, but its easy enough to just hook it back up.
  4. Its usually a carb issue. I know all the replys have been the same, but pull the carbs off again. Blow air through the jets. Double check the slide cut outs are facing the rear of the bike. Spray carb cleaner when its running to make sure there isn't an air leak. Does it still have the TORS? What jets are you running?
  5. Mine spits if I fill the resi over half full. Its just hot as hell out. Billet impeller will help.
  6. Is the rear shock set up for link/no link? What length swinger were you running with it?
  7. Make sure you find the problem as stated. My buddys bike did that after a rebuild and fried the top end in a couple hours. He had the head milled and the compression was off the charts. What domes are you running?
  8. I bought a set of cylinders from minkia a few years back. They were $350.00 plus shipping. A week later I received an empty box in the mail with a note from the post office. Sorry, there was an issue with your shipment. I guess the cylinders ripped out of the box from poor packing. I called ray to find out what to do and he told me it was insured and to deal with the post office. Come to find out he only insured them for $300. Then he had the balls to tell me I should have payed extra. His ebay ad was clear that insurance was included. He didn't pay for the right amount. At least I got 300 back, just not the 380 I payed. Lesson learned. This was a few years before I was a member on here. I still tell my friends to stear clear. Ray, I understand shit happens. But don't keep posting that you will make everything right. You didn't even try in my case.
  9. Send payment info for carbs please.
  10. How much more for chrome?
  11. If you will split up the package, I would be interested in the carbs. PM me
  12. +2+1 arms as well. Let us know
  13. PM me if these are still for sale.
  14. I did the same thing on mine a few months ago, except the inside is black. Yours came out real nice
  15. I'll get next in line for the a arms. Let me know when you're selling them
  16. 2002 and newer have br8es. Older models came with b8es. I don't know why newer models use resistors.
  17. I have a black oxide finish leatherman surge multi-tool for sale or trade. Its like new. Few small sratches on the handle, but nothing serious. Comes with a black nylon sheath. These sell for $80.00 on ebay. I'm looking for a nice front bumper, not stock. Or $60.00 shipped. Let me know what you got. I will post pics tomorrow if anyone is interested.
  18. If anyone else does this with the clutch cover bolt, the tap was 6 mil x 1.0
  19. That was a lot easier than I expected. I didn't have to weld any material onto the cover. I used a stock clutch cover bolt, fine thread 6 mil, and I got 4 or 5 threads in the cover. More than enough. After I drilled and tapped it, I threaded the bolt through and cut it off with a hack saw. Smoothed it out on the grinder. Quick trip to the store tomorrow for a copper washer and I'm done.
  20. I was thinking about welding a nut to the cover for the extra material and then drill/tap the cover to match. If I get a chance this week, I'll give it a try. Hopefully pics to follow. Might be more work than a $30.00 cover is worth.
