I heard a few things that make them shift better if you are splitting the cases. I was talking to Kevin at HJR about cutting the dogs in the tranny. He said it would shift better with a higher hp motor. I've also seen a shift drum mod where they machine the end and press on a bearing. Might want to call HJR or FAST and find out some details.

I wish I knew where to get chrome done cheap. You wouldn't even be able to look at my bike. It is just painted. I will check out shipping to Canada to see how much more. I'll PM you tomorrow

I made a +1 steering stem for my play bike few months ago. Worked out real nice. It is sleeved with chromoly tubing and TIG welded by a professional welder. At 1 inch longer, all stock lines and cables still fit. I can make these any length you want. Anything longer than 1 inch will need longer brake lines. If you want a +2 or +3, PM me. I knew better than to ride his bike. Adrenaline rush from hell. I'm trying to figure out what else I need inside the cases. This is going to be a very slow build.

Thinking about building a hillshooter out of my play bike. I want to put the $$$ in the motor and not in bling. No powder coating, no chrome, no polishing, just fast. I am leaning toward a 10 mil cub. What kind of hp can I expect from a full drag ported cub motor? Is there a different set up with similiar hp I should look in to?I am new to this and would like some opinions. I started a wish list to get me motivated. Starting with the bottom end, I need 10 mil crank with tz and max load bearings. Get cases trenched. Override trans. What else in the bottom end?

I am at a similiar elevation with same pipes on my play bike. Plug chop put me at 280 mains. K&N in air box. +4 timing, everything else stock. Post back when you jet

I've picked up a couple sets of yfz front calipers on yfz central.com for $40 a set. Huge difference. Should bolt right up to 99 spindles. Might have to put shorter bolts
