Like the title says I am parting out a complete 2006 banshee all prices are plus the ride. The bike ripped the intake boot and the dude kept riding it and seized the right piston and fried the crank other than that all the parts are low hour and in good shape. I also run a 421 cub with T5 pipes on it. When I first put it together I was not happy with how it preformed till I realized I wsa blowing the tires off it trying to launch it. My inital setup was not that great but after some tuning and spending some time with the bike it have gotten much faster. I would guess he is probably blowing the tires off 9 paddles on a 421 is not really enough tire if you are wanting to drag it and if the setup is not right a well built SC bike will take it no problem. I have since gone to shearers on mine and they do preform better but I think your setup is your biggest issue.

I am not a FMF expert other guys will be able to tell you more but if you want topend them go with CPI, shearers, Rockets or a pipe like that.

Welcome to the HQ!! T5 pipes are a good all around pipe but it really depends on what kind of riding you are doing. Fattys are more of a trail pipe and you will probably loose a little topend with them if you switch. If the motor is pretty much stock switching carbs is not going to be the best way to spend money. Get yourself a adjustable timing plate and moving your timing to +4 buy a cool head and get domes so you can up your compression just a bit and put dual K&N filters on it if they are not there already and you should have no trouble beating your buddy. Also if you switch filters you will need to rejet the bike should not leave that out. As far as your oil goes lots of guys on here run the 927 but most of them are running 40:1 that is pretty safe you should not hurt anything running that.

They put the piston in the motor and obviouly didnt get the clip in and it fell out into the motor and ruined his cylinder and they are telling him it is his problem now and they will do nothing. How the hell is that the same as Joe putting his own brake caliper on running it for who knows how long and then burning up his brakes pads and hitting a wall?????? If you cant see the differance there then I dont know what to tell you?

Texting with the guy is probably not going to get you anywhere. I would drive to his shop and talk to him face to face. If that does not work then just drive down to the court house and file a small claim against him. It will cost you nothing since he will loose and he will end up paying the court costs. If he gets court papers served to him my guess is that he will pay up. I would ask for money not for him to redo it becasue if he couldnt get it right the first time then doubt he will get it right the second time.
