A week and a half away from this ride and as usual the west coast crew is really showing up for a ride

Where do you live at? I would suggest getting a spot reserved if you are wanting to show up it is not a really big campground so spots may run out

bwana66 this ride is really more about getting together to ride than anything else. My girlfriend will be on a stock banshee and my daughter will be on a rappy 350 so no you dont need to be fast or rich lol. It is all about trying to get as many guys together off the site as we can to enjoy some good riding time and get to meet a few new people. My buddy and his family are going and his wife is on a stock banshee also. Bring what you have and enjoy yourself that is really what it is about.

I have painted a few sets of plastic myself and I totally disagree with the cracking. I painted a set of warrior plastic and even ran it with no rear fender brackets for a long time and they flexed bad and I never had any issue with the paint cracking at all. If it is done right it will stay on no problem.

I am in site 6 and a buddy of mine is in site 5 so if you are going try to get spots around there if you can.

A 120 chain will not do it you need a 140 for a 8 over arm. It is very hard to find chain that actually will fit with another chain so adding to your chain is not going to be a great option. I am afriad you are going to need to just buck up and order a chain.

Green you are right that is why we are not worrying about anyone and just making plans for where we want to go. I have no clue what the hell is wrong with the people here in Oregon and why they cant even commit to showing up for a ride??????

What elevation are you at and are you running the air box still or not? If you tell us your elevation and what mods are done to it besides the pipes we can give you an idea of what jet size you should be at. Enjoy the bike and the site!!!

Yes you can deck a 7 mill down to a 4 and it makes them run really well. I have had my 4 mill decked down a little myself. Not sure what a shop would charge you but I know Cameron at Redline racing has done a few of them I am sure if you called him he would give you a idea of what you would be looking at.

Okay guys here is the deal. Riley Ranch is still not going to have the trail open to the dunes by the time we want to do this ride so Mitty and I have been talking and we feel it would be better to do this ride at spinreel. It is going to be way to much trouble for everyone to need to trailer out to the parking lot every day. Here is the site for making reservations at spinreel.
