You do not need a agressive port or big bore to run those carbs. I have ran those carbs on several bike with just mild dune porting and they run great. They will not work as well as they possibly could on a stock motor but if they are setup right they will work just fine.

Those carbs will work fine with that motor. You should be around a 155 to a 160 main jet and the 55 pilot should be fine. A ceg or a cel needle is also what you will want to be running in it. O and just so you know if they really ar 34 mill carbs then they are a pj not a pwk

All of your bolts ons are good usable things so building a little more hp with what you have is not a real big deal. I would pull the cylinders off and send them off to a site sponsor andhave them ported. 45 with the stuff you have is a little low it should be closer to 55 but it all depends on the dyno also. A good stock cylinder stock stroke ported motor will make any where for 65 to 70hp so that would be a greta upgrade for you and is not going to change your fuel usage by a large amount. I personally use Redline racing and they do awesome work and have great customer service but any of the site sponsors will hook you up with some good port work. Welcome and enjoy the site.

Well seeing how you are located the same place I am I will give you my thoughts on Glamis lol. We went to Glamis for the first time 2 years ago and after riding the Oregon dunes for many years I was really looking forward to getting to Glamis. I will say it was fun but not what I had exected. If you like high speed open dunes then Glamis is the place for you to go but if you enjoy the hard stuff that takes some skill to ride then it is not the place for you. We did have a good time and we will go back but no matter how many different places we go and all the states we keep traveling to Oregon still have the biggest variety when it comes to the riding you can do on the dunes. Also we went on a off weekend and it was very mild nothing crazy at all going on. I must say the drags on Gecko road kicked ass I had a blast running those by buddies had to make me shut my bike down because I was just going to keep making passes till that sucker burned up lol.

I have never done it but I know people that have and they have had good luck with it. Just kind of scares me a little bit.

Call up one of the site sponsors on here and get a complete TORS eliminater kit and also get a stock cross over tube and loose the boost tottle before you a rip a intake and blow your motor up. Kind of need to know what carbs you are running to be able to tell you what jets you need. I have 34pj's on my 421 cub and I run a 150 main and a 55 pilot with a ceg needle

I have a set of Keihin 39 pwk carbs set up for alky for sale. I want to make it very very clear that I know nothing about these carbs! I bought these from a guy who said they were setup for gas but when I got them they have been drilled for alky. I can tell you they have been drilled to .125 but other than that they look fine but I have never ran them. Where the one power jet has been put in they did kind of a crappy job epoxying it but you can easily just clean it up and do it over. They will not come with any jets since I have no alky jets. One of the float bowls has had the hole in the bottom welded up so it clears the clutch rod. I will take $225.00 shipped for them.

Just do a little calling around and see who you like talking witht he most. I personally use Redline and Cameron does great work and his turn around time is great also but it is really who you want to go with.

I just welded a nut on a 1" bolt and use that with a socket and take them out.

I have a set of Toomey T5 head pipes for sale. This is the head pipes only! The left side is in good shape the right side has some rust. I will take 125.00 plus the ride for them.
