Really Matt? When I was at Glamis all everyone could talk about was the drags on Gecko road every night. I can see why they talked about them because they were bad ass! To say people in Cali do not care about racing is not true. Those guys were pretty serious about those races!

If you guys take everything to heart that is said on here then yes we are serious racers BUT that makes Zillla a major flamer it makes Mattscss a major dick head and Tyler the biggest prick in the world. You get the idea. This is a forum people talk shit that is just the way it is. I have rode dunes all over the place and I have enjoyed all of them but I know for a fact we are no more serious about our racing than people are in any other place. Disclaimer because people get there feelers hurt. I was joking about Matt and Tyler but not about Zilla

Riley Ranch is really nice. When they get the rest of the bathrooms finished it will be even better. We have only camped there once but we will camp there again it is a nice gamp ground and good spot to come out on the sand at. Florence has several camp grounds we camp at Odd Fellows which is the nicest one but it is a members only spot so that does kind of suck. I am hoping to make the ride but with taking the first week of the month off for Dune Fest just not sure if I can swing it. LOL But hell I am one of the ones that always shows up.

Most of the people who get together for these rides are not hardcore drag racers. Most of the guys that come to the LS Ride do a little tuning and a lot of riding. It's just not nearly as serious here as it is there. Sure, everyone wants their bikes to run the best they can, but it does not make or break the whole trip for them if they don't. I honestly think you northwest guys scare a lot of casual Banshee riders off because of the competitive nature of the racing scene. I'm not saying that being competitive is bad, I just think for a lot of the guys on this website especially, it's not everything. Tyler I do not agree that the Northwest guys scare people off. We really are not that serious it just sounds that way on here lol. If we do go to really race it is just a good time. Yes people will wrench on bikes and try to get better times out of them but it is always a big group of guys standing around and shooting the shit while one guys messes with his bike. Believe me we know how to have a good time a ride the shit out of our machines. Hell I will go through 15 to 20 gallons of gas in my bike alone on a normal weekend.

Really have no idea why it is so hard to get people out here to commit to a date and actually show up. You guys in the midwest get toether and drive lots of miles to do it but that is pretty much your one big ride for the year. Not saying you do not ride other times just saying that is you big one. Out here we have Sand Fest in July Dunes Fest in Aug plus I ride the dunes at least once every month usually twice.

I have a titled one but it is a 97. quadpro has several frames with titles and I think they are late model onse you might check with him.

Well this will most likely fail becasue for some reason all the people here flake out every time but I think we should do it at Riley Ranch myself. I just camped there last weekend and it works good for tent campers or toy haulers and they really do not care about the partying. Not sure on the weekend but if it gets setup I am sure I will show up. Hell I was there for the first 2 fails!

If you are staying with a failry stock motor a stock head is fine. If you plan on doing much to it down the road I think a cool head is better. I have not had a lot of luck with stock head gaskets and I have worked on a lot of bikes with blown stock head gaskets.

Check out the track in albany they have races all the time also look up sand jam on facebook they posy when all of there races are going on.

How is the spark plug access with the snipers on there? The CPI'S suck for changing plugs looks like the snipers are a little better but maybe not a whole lot.

Buy this stuff up guys. Not going to sit on this stuff very long before I put it all on ebay.
