  1. Dude there is no way you are unplugging the CDI not sure what you are unplugging you may need to add a pciture LOL
  2. Never been there but know lots of people who have. They say it is a mix of dirt and sand. Do not run haulers there either run dirt tires or a cheap paddle. Lots of trails and good places to ride I guess but kind of dusty and yes out in the middle of nowhere!!!
  3. So you went up in elevation and also went up in jetting is that really what you are saying? If that is really what you did then you went backwards you need to drop your jetting when you go up in evelvation.
  4. If his is the second skirt you have broke off of a piston you need to have someone look at that motor. Something is not right skirts do not break off from Detonation that is a clearance issue. Going to a 310 main jet is not the casue of this in my opioin.
  5. Between 3 banshee's mine the wifes and my 15 year old daughters I will usually go through 35 to 40 gallons of race gas on a normal weekend and the 2 girls bikes are stock cylinder bikes that do not burn shit for fuel. We put a lot of miles on the sand every year.
  6. Perfect just make sure you carry a extra crank with you for when it eats the rod bearings out in the first 30 mins lol
  7. LOL Sandman is trying to tell you to stay the hell in Idaho I think. That kind of riding is a little harder to come by in this area. There is some but not like over there. Browns camp in not far from Portland and there is all kind of trails stuff to ride there you can ride trails for days there.
  8. I think it is more about having the card continue than it is having bones fight whoever. If he woudl have taken the fight the rest of the guys could have got paid and if all Chael does is talk trash and lose the then bones had nothing to worry about just kick his ass collect your money along with all the other fighters getting paid at the same time but instead he cost everyone on the card apay check.
  9. Love my twist throttle on my banshee will not ride with a thumb throttle but I can already tell you the majority of the people will tell you it is a bad idea. If you are not use to a twist you can hurt yourself with one. I love min and have no issues at all with it but I have ran a twist on everything I have ever rode.
  10. As Tyler like to say when he posts something Discuss lol. I should clarify what I said. I am not a track guy that is probably a better way to say it. Not really use to dealing with the alky motor and the big stroker stuff more just the small dune bikes. My riding is 85% dunes tree shots hill climbs and riding with the family and 12% racing at the hill. The other 3% involves me laying in the sand stuck under my banshee becasue I have crashed.
  11. Keep one thing in mind I am a dune guy not a drag guy. I ride the dunes a way more than most and I ride year around. I am not a drag guy and do not hang out at the track. That being said you have any idea the number of bikes you run into on a weekend that have a dune port with 35 pwk carbs and cpi's on them??? A shit load!! You run into guys with HJR dune port Wildcard dune port Redline dune port you get the idea. I have ridden all kinds of them and raced against all kinds of them also. Here again not at the track just racing up the hill on the dunes which means nothing in my opioin becasue rider can make such a hugh differance. I can tell you which ones I thought really hauled ass and I can also tell you the number of guys who got on my little 4 mill stock cylinder and siad holy shit that is just a dune port??? I have had mine on the dyno getting tuned many times and it runs nothing like that. But like I said I am just anut swinger what do I know. Just to be clear dajogejr I am not starting a fight with you and I respect your knowledge I think I have told you that many times in the past but when it comes to duners I do know a fair amount about that side of this hobby and your pecrentage when it comes to the same motor being built for the duners is way off.
  12. Ya but then there are some like yourself who have had a motor built by 2 of the mentioned and can answer this question but for the sake of not starting shit and not being a dick head you are not going to do. Also there are many of us myself included who have ridden many different motors from most of all the builders mentioned and can answer this but then you are just called a nut swinger so that does not matter either.
  13. Dave you move to Portland and you will only be 2 and a half to 3 hours away from riding the larger dunes here in Oregon and only 2 hours from sand lake which is very small but still dunes. Also I think you will find many more people that ride here than where you are in Idaho. I grew up over there and still have lots of friends in your area and not much for sand riders around there.
  14. No the Dunes here are not like that at all. When you are in Idaho you feel like you are out in the desert in the middle of nowhere I thought even more so than Glamis. Oregon dunes are nothing like that. The only place here you even stand the chance of burning up a tank of fuel is Coos Bay. Florence and Winchester you have no issues running the entire dunes on one tank and parts are just right up the road if you have issues.
  15. Pretty normal some east coast guy gets a fight offer from a west coast guy and like every other time east coast guy pusses out and runs away scared.
  16. I know you are Shayne and as dajogejr said these threads are getting just a little old so I was taking it in a different direction lol.
  17. Why am I m nut swinger for telling him where to take it? Does that make you a wildcard swinger then becasue that was your answer? Like I have said many times I am okay with being a but swinger since I know I am swinging from a really fast set of nuts!
  18. Dave I have been to Idaho but Oregon is where I ride all the time. The Oregon dunes are nothing like the dunes in Idaho. No they are not as big but they are plenty big. They offer such different riding than you can get anywhere else. I enjoyed Idaho and hope to go back some day but I still say that the Oregon dunes are more fun than Idaho was. You will not find the tree shots and technical riding we have on the Oregon dunes in Idaho. So to answer your question no they are not worth a shit as Sandman said stay in Idaho Yes it is worth the trip everyone that I know who has made the trip from out of state has always came back several times.
  19. The answer to a fast bike is all in my sig buddy
  20. That is some funny shit right there!!!!
  21. Big Red when you are ready just let me know. I promise you I will take you in some tree shots that will make the old ass hole pucker lol. We love building tree shots!!
  22. Hey he would not want to ride his junk to often he may need to actually buy some parts for it if he did.
  23. PM sent
  24. Spinreel has a little bit of everything to offer to offer. You will enjoy riding there. The dunes are not really that tall but there is some good tree shots and some really fun places to ride. When are you going to be there?
  25. It was 210.00 to strip and chrome the stock arms and no that is not a stock swing arm it is a aluminum swing arm
