I normally use chrome polish but there was a thread on here awhile ago saying to use wood bleach I think? you dilute it down and soak the pipe in it for a day or so and the rust comes off no prob I think it was some nasty stuff to deal with but works good hopefully he will chime in

ya this thing is far from being done a cheap way to do a 2wd blazer would be find and old blazer that looks decent and put the body on a 2wd frame I thought of doing the opposit acouple years ago so my truck would be good in the snow but since it has only gotten like 5 miles on it in the past 6 years no point in doing it. but the frame and body will mount up with no problems vins wont match but if its a pleasure ride who gives a shit right? ans the 6.0 with twins would be sick as fuck but these trucks are pretty light in the rear so that thing would be a mofo to keep in a straigt line freeway driveing would be alot of fun but put some weight in the back before I had this truck the guy I got it from had a 525 horse 355 roller motor in it and at 65 on the freeway it would but it sideways when shifting down to pass talk about getting that addrenalin pumpin lol. but as far as drivetrain I and putting a posi in the rear along with 4:11,s that should get it off the line a lil better I dont want to go too extreem on the gears so I can still drive it on the freeway to get to shows and cruises I will get some motor pics up soon

ok but with the sti turbo dont you have to run a front mount instead of the top mount intercooler I plan on keeping this as stock looking as possible I had planned on doing the rest before hand this is not the first turbo car to work on for me it just one of the newest ones. and also does the wrx/sti down pipe fit these or are they different I have found the sti stuff for dirt cheep compared to the GT stuff

ya all what I was thinking was I am trying to setup a drag frame but at the same time I cant see paying 500 bucks to have someone cut the shit out of it and then have to still coat it so that I was thinking get a frame that messed up for cheap chop it up myself put a new subframe and do all the lightening stuff like that and then use my stock frame on my trail bike

well as you prolly know is you want fast on these things its very posible but once you make it fast there are those other factors. like do you like to cruise the dunes or play around alil bit? if you go with the all out drag port its great for going in a straight line but playing around isnt as fun in my opinion thats why im building a second bike lol one drager on meth and one duner get the best of both worlds

the rotor is an aftermarker wave rotor design great shape 55 shipped the skid plate I have no idea who made it but looks to be tough there is one ding in it from last owner I think one or two of the mounts are gone but its an easy fix 55 shipped pm for pics if your interested I have not even used this stuff bought it cause the sellers said it was for a banshee and of coarse it wasnt so here it is for you

well sounds easy enough to fix put since your there take a good look at the rod and make sure its not grooved I dont think it would be but ya never know

I would say to put some eibach springs on it in not to familiar with the Tokico springs but I have had success with the eibachs before

alot of octain boosters are crap you can run them but they are more than likely just goingto make the motor run hotter if you are going to run an additive to boost octain look up REAL LEAD I have run this stuff acouple of times and its not cheap like 18 bucks a quart but it works decent but all in all if you need high octain just get race gas and mix it to the proper octain you need

I really like the one I have aswell simple to install and it cools better than the other cool heads I have used but just like the last guy said the customer support isnt bad but when you want custom applications like the blaster pistons and anything past a 4mill then they dont really have much to offer when I talked to them about the blaster pistons they offered to send me a set of blank domes so the builder could machine them to spec

just go to a yamaha shop you can probabaly get them for the same price as on here you dont pay shipping

first find out what squish clearance you have in there take your piece of soldier and mike it out you will want to probably run close to a .040-.045 squish. are the cylinders ported at all? more than likely they are so anyways find your squish and we can tell you what gasket to go with

the 404bb you should just call vitos they might have one laying around these parts are getting really hard to find used. the head will only work on that block these parts are not interchangable with other banshee cylinders that is most likely why they stopped production. cause cost to make one part is up while you can get aftermarket cylinders that take interchangable parts they are a good set of cylinders if you cant find a head I would be interested in maybe trading or buying them off you let me know

I have had the same problem I dont really think of it as a problem but if the bike is in gear and I pull the clutch in and rap it out in the top end it grabs a little and wants to take off
