  2. clean it up real good and it should run like a champ
  3. the head more than likely when alluminum heats up it has a lower boiling temp than say cast iron or steel and can warp quite easy with a little neglect it will ruine a top end quick all it takes is the right temp to be reached and its toast

  5. is there a chance that your new top end got too hot and warped a little bit
  6. did you do the compression test?
  7. I have one I cut a little of the back off to fit a amplink shoot me a reasonable offer I would put a price but I have no idea what they go for
  8. I am very interested but just the same prob as before lots of parts and not much money I have a set of 34pj's billet intakes K&N pods with outerwears great setup for a nice duner carbs are just rebuilt will mostlikely include the jets you need I have a few let me know
  9. I am buying a house and need to get this project out of the driveway either parting it or take the whole thing all body is straight interior is in nice shape gray and black has 4G63 DOHC motor but have just about everythig to make it a 4G63T exept the comp and harness
  10. make sure that the studs in the head are down all the way and is this a new topend that you had done or just bought? Is there any differences that have been made to the bike recently if its recent jugs have they been checked for deck heigth if the tops of the two are off a little bit then it will have weak spots in the seal
  11. just a thought but do a compression test and see if one cylinder looses compression. you might have a bad seal causing the compression to leak into the coolant jackets. just a thought I know I had a problem like that when I first got my bike
  12. they do look adjustable shit give them a try if they dont work you could always get rid of them on some shocks you might have to grind down certain parts to make them fit and once they do fit you might have to send them into the company and have them revalved for the weight difference rebound preload ect which you could just do with your stock shocks but you never know
  13. stock carbs will be fine just make sure you get your jetting right when it comes time and then down the road get some 33's or 34's for it when you get the port work done and it will fly
  14. I think the only thing you can do is test out tires and see which work better for both
  15. well shit man cant complain about that at all no matter what its goingto get some decent #'s down
  16. I will take that throttle for 30 shipped to me pm if your interested if you send it usps first class it would only be like 2.50 or so

    Gasket

it would raise the squish band but not much I think the stock gaskets are around 0.10 but not sure if you were to stack two of them I would use a gasket coating like permatex copper head gasket spray just to seal it a little better but you can have mine for like 10 shipped pm me if your interested
  19. ya man the billet one I have just bolts right on top of the neutral safety switch I think most of them are like that hope it helps a little bit

    Gasket

I dont really know if anyone makes a paper head gasket they use the steel shim gaskets because of the compression and heat involved in that part of the engine if you really want to try one go out and get some gasket paper and make one up but anyways I have a new steel one if your interested
  21. ask him for the eye to eye length of them and how wide the mounting surfaces are? more than likely they will fit there is a ton of aftermarket shocks and stock shocks from other makers that will work but you have to make sure the length isnt too extreme or too short for the riding you do
  22. just to let you know those t5's will perform better than t6's what are you looking for inframes or out of frames
  23. well with the carbs you should just find a set of used ones with the tors removed and the screws tapped they are normally preatty cheap on here just cause everyone wants somthing bigger and for the clutch do you have a short length lever? those ones are allways harder to pull back in my opinion if not try and take your cable off and see if it just worn out meaning doesnt slide back and forth very easily
  24. im thinking it could be a 69mm bore on a 3mil crank if it is its an old school setup I havent seen anything about 3mils in a while but its posible
