  1. great guy to deal with bought some 39PWK ALKY carbs off and a billet kicker he shipped the next day gave me a tracking # they showed up in the advertised condition looking like new.
  2. as of right now I think I am goingto hold on to them and look for a trade and last set of these I saw go on ebay for 299 + shipping and they were not in as good of shape so 200 bucks just isnt worth it to me for that I will just keep them and put them on another build in the future

  4. I dont want to split them up I had a local guy ask the the same thing I cant see doing it they are a sweet set of pipes as aset and I really only want some nice shearer oof's thats the only reason I put them up

  7. I put my axle on recently and noticed the same thing but when you tighten the lock nut up everything stays put I think it is just the lock nut that might loosen up over time not sure though any other imput
  8. so if you have 110 HP to the ground just dont try to shift down basicly unless you are willing to spend lots of money doing research building one? but ya that makes a little more sence to me atleast I was hoping to find a tranny that would be for drag and when you wanted it to be for play

  10. that is a tough one if you have a micrometer take it to the insides of the domes you have and see what it measures out or just see if the tops of the pistons fit onside the cuts of the dome if they do I wouldnt worry too much if not dlnoss on here can hook you up
  11. with the small bore the inside of the dome shouldnt be more than 66mm with the big bore they should be I think 66.50mm up to like 68 if you post a pic up im sure I can tell
  12. what I do to keep the O rings in is use a can of spray adhesive you can get it at any auto parts store as long as the domes are for the same bore size not big bore domes I would use them just clean the surfaces of the dome and oring spray the oring let it sit 5-10 minutes and stick it in works great also I have used both domes in that head and they are the same if the hemi head isnt cut for the pro domes grind off one of the holding tabs
  13. ya thats what im talking about right there except I used bushings on the outsides of the bolt too just as a little insurance it will let it move some but its not going to go anywhere
  14. well then they look preaty damn good then I didnt know if it was or not since they where used pipes when I got them thanks for the info and thats a sick looking bike you have there
  15. what I did for my oof's was basicly go to lowes or home depot and get a bunch of thick rubber bushings/gromets and everywhere the brackets touch the frame or pegs put one or more on each side in between everything to cut down the vibes I only had my oof's for a couple of months but never cracked a weld or broke anything they just vibrated bolts out of the quad all over lol
  16. got these on a trade and I allready have CPI's im not sure I want to sell them yet just checking to see what is out there they are in good shape no blueing there is one dent where the radiator hose is but doesnt affect anything at all and it actually looks like it is suppose to be there so all in all good pipes I just dont know when the next time I will use them is so make offers I will have some pics up shortly I am looking for an overide trans or a set of shearer out of frames in like condition or posibly 22-11-8 extemes PM for more details
  17. ok so basicly when doing high HP motors on these you dont really even want to shift down at all because somthing in the trans doesnt want to line up? what is the best way to get a banshee trany to hold up to some abuse like down shifting and just playing around on it?
  18. I think is just that alot of people use the overide trannys for draging and they dont have to shift down for that and they are cheaper to buy I think the one im looking for is like 600 plus$
  19. its just basicly like an auto trans you can shift up through all gears without using the clutch and you can shift down too

  24. need to be more specific the 158 rods mean they are +5 but for what stroke?
