  1. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=122440&pid=1061867&st=0entry1061867 There's one in the non banshee for sale section he wants to trade. Miss. I think.
  2. I agree with Dunerman. What are your jugs and crank worth? Sounds like you're paying a bit much to have your motor put together, and are these the same people that worked on it last time? If you're gonna go that route and you don't want to put it together yourself, sell the stuff you don't want and send it to one of the builders on here to put together. Nitrotate on here also made a DVD on how to work on your motor, I bought it and after watching and having a service manual, I don't feel so intimidated by the bottom end and plan to build my next one myself. Just sounds like you may be getting ripped off to me by someone that can't find your problem and get your bike to run right now.
  3. Wanna do $50 shipped on the rack?
  4. I'm curious on the six pack rack price too>
  5. That sounds like an awesome deal.
  6. Quick shipping, everything as described, smooth transaction. Thanks again.
  7. Received cap and sync tool last night. Everything as described. Bump for a good seller. Thanks again.
  8. X2 Yeah, you really need some pipes.
  9. Do you have the front spindles with rotors?
  10. Thx Kev, I am very happy with the work I have from you. I just kinda wish that I had done a 4mil when I did mine, it seems you are never truly done. I figured since I have to buy new jugs to do the 4mil, I might as well go to a bigger bore at the same time. Didn't want to go the sleeve route, it seems kinda like a hassle and not that cost effective. I didn't really want a cub because I didn't want to give up too much low end, and kinda wanted to have a sleeper thing going. I've talked to a couple of guys here selling 4mil jugs or 4mil big bores, but I didn't want a drag ported set. I have plenty of power now until we line up in the street, than no matter how much you have, you always want a little more. I have a friend with a 70mm stock stroke drag ported that I'd like to surprise I guess too. I still have some stuff to do to mine. I have bigger carbs on my work bench now, just have been super busy with a work thing all summer, and should have more time to mess with it starting November 1st. Sorry Twinrock, I guess I kinda jacked your thread.
  11. Yeah, I saw them on ebay before, and though it looked kinda sketchy. Whats in the box, two large rocks? You would think they would have a picture of the actual product. When I googled atheana big bore a bunch of 4 stroke big bore kits came up.
  12. Thanks Daj, I've seen those before, but missed your link when I read the thread. I was curious, still how the Vito's porting was out of the box. I've never really heard anything about these Atheana cylinders and was curious what they were like ported out of the box. I know I can't go to a 4mil with my current porting. I guess I was wondering if they were ported for a stock stroke from atheana, but too radical to go to a 4mil. I guess what I'm wondering if they are similar, as the atheana one is $100 less that could go towards the porting. Also, the Atheana ad said nickel carbide coating. Is the nickel carbide like a nikasal coating? Can you buy bigbore cylinders without the coating so the can be bored or no? and if so, would it be advisable or is the coating that good? Are the Vito's a good value, and does anyone sell them cheaper than Vito's?
  13. Could you port these to run them with a 4mil crank? Or do they already have porting for stock stroke? I googled them and didn't really see too much info on them. I would like to do a 4mil, but would also like to do a bigger bore at the same time, these might be the ticket. Sleeving seems like a hassle, although maybe it's easier than it sounds.
  14. Looks good from the pictures. How do you like it so far, why the change? What was your last one, was your last one a roundhouse swinger too? Let's see a couple of close ups!!
  15. I'm at 160lbs at sea level with 20cc domes, I'm running av gas now, and it seems to be working out well. I think Rubberneck is right, you need bigger domes.
  16. I'm looking for a cheap set to do a 4mil. Not in any hurry, just looking for the right deal.
  17. How much are you looking for on the other set of jugs?
  18. Bump Nice bike, good luck with the sale.
  19. I'll take the radiator cap and the sync tool. I don't use paypal too much. Is a money order ok? Can you PM me the address?
  20. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/1362312216.html Not mine, saw it on CL earlier
  21. Do you have the bowls on the correct carbs. The one with the brass ball in the front goes on the stator side. I developed this problem after a rebuild, and switching them back fixed it right up. There's been numerous threads on this, there is a jet in the left bowl and it has to go on the correct carb.
  22. Yes, do not take it to the dealer! I just saw a thread on here this a.m. that a guy took his bike to a dealer and they "cleaned and tuned" the carbs, it still wasn't running when he got it back. I agree with everyone above. Pipes, porting, compression, and timing. You may also want a fresh clutch while you're at it. The builders on this site are pretty good reputable guys, and will give you help on the phone etc about tuning it and straightening out any problems you have, and they know Banshee's inside and out as opposed to a local shade tree or home porting guy. The only thing is with the porting, if you want to do a 4mil later, you'll need new jugs, from what I've been told. Just increase your budget and do it now. You can't go wrong with pipes and porting though, it will really wake up your bike, you'll be very happy.
  23. The whole event is Friday to Sunday (9th-11th) The "drag race" part is just Friday night from what I've been told by the guys from down here that have gone before. The website has a bunch of rules, but they seem more geared towards the motocross races, and the drag race thing from what I've been told is pretty informal. Just line up next to someone and go when it's your turn. They are supposed to have a timing light as well. I'm just going by what I've been told and have not seen or heard anything official. The contact info is: NJTM, PO Box 1256, Wildwood, New Jersey 08260 (609) 523-8051
