the dealer just wants to make money off of you. they can sell you just a head gasket. if they dont have it in stock and have to order it just get it from ALBA.

i paid about 2200 for mine and have out another 1700 in it. im nowhere near bing finished though. just getting started.

i would not go with a single carb setup if you have an aggressive dune or drag port. what carbs do you have now?

so if your shee makes alot of power, it wont shift normally with the clutch? or is it that you cant powershift and you can with an over ride tranny? i guess i just dont fully understand. i mean, mine is not that far from stock and i cant powershift too great right now. i would like to build a 485 cheatah one day but if itll shift with the clutch, i wont get a over ride because i wont be dragging except just racing friends. sorry, didnt mean to hijack the thread.

i would definatly either put the zilla motor in it or something bigger than a 360 4poke engine. zilla's are huge. thats alot of bike for a 360 to pull without lots of mods.

if youre used to riding bikes, you may be ok with a twist throttle. i had one on my shee and i hated it, but ive never ridden bikes. i stood mine straight up in the woods just making a sharp left turn. ordered a replacement thumb cable shortly after!

310 mains and 27.5's sounds like a good starting point to me. i have 290 mains and 30 pilots and im about 500 above sl.

depends on which parts.F.A.S.T. is a good place as well.

i use honda hp 80w/85w. works good so far.

i did mine burgundy as in the pic below but i am also a fan of black if you do the a arms, swingarm, wheels etc black also.

there you go. and you can get it off the dollar menu. thats the cheapest fix youll find. :laugh:

a friend of mine used some type of hose and when his pipes got hot, the hose caught on fire. luckily no major damage was done, but i wouldnt do it.

i ran mine off the stator. i tapped into the hot wire going to the headlight switch.
