cool. i just got a piece of aluminum, cut it down, drilled the holes, and bent it in a break ( i have access to a machine shop). i bent it by hand to get it at the perfect angle while it was mounted. best of all it was free!
so you want his because its 6 years newer and needs crank bearings? i dont get it. you say that every time you fix one thing, something else breaks. sounds like youll have a completely new bike before long  .
some people have had that problem and have said that the resistor plugs help nad some have had to run the unit off a 9v battery instead of the yellow wire.
and yes set the ppr to 2 since the banshees fire at tdc and bdc.
i tried to hook the tach up to the spade terminal and it gave me some kinda crazy reading like it idled at 7k and revved out to like 20k. i dont know why.
i tapped into the yellow wire under the gas tank going to the dimmer switch.
make sure you put the temp sensor in the hose coming out of the head so that it doesnt read the temp after the radiator has cooled the water.
as for the speed sensor, i tried to bend the supplied bracket as told in the instructions, but i wound up breaking it so i cut my dust shield and mounted it there since i dont use them.
i would suggest using a jig saw or a sawzall. as far as the best place? i say look around the hq and get some ideas.
How to cut ME fenders?
^^^^^are you by any chance a pirate or something?
arrrrggghhhhhhh!!!!! :yelrotflmao:
finally put the whites back on. i only put the fronts on because the rears are cut kinda jagged and look like crap. i kinda wish i had a good set of whites because i like em.
welcome to the hq and congrats on your "new" banshee.
i would definately clean the cabrs thoroughly, drain the gas, change the plugs and do a compression check.
haha! i kinda know the feeling. my wife bought me a banshee for christmas of 07 and i broke a rod two days later. i knew i wanted to build a 4mill so i google searched "banshee 4mill" and it brought me to the good ole hq.
i found every answer to every question i needed by searching so i never posted anything. i observed all the forums and learned alot for a long time but i didnt even join until sep 08!
yes if you dont mud ride! seriously take the lid and snorkel off and buy a k&n. be sure to rejet though.
if you dont go through too much mud or water, get pods. theyll breathe the best.
thats the norm for you right? hahahaha!!!! theres no way youre actually being serious when you post this kinda crap. i think you just get your jollys by making us take you serious! :yelrotflmao:
not too sure about atv tires but in automobile tires, the white letter or white wall part is actually white rubber behind the sidewall of the tire. so you cant just grind it off or anything. the lettering on my razr's dont look raised like white letters on car tires tho so it may just be some kind of ink.
x2. state farm quoted me a really good deal on my rhino when i bought it but they said i had to change my car insurance over to them too.
they probably could beat my current insurance company's (alfa) rate, but ive got 2 wrecks and 3 tickets on my record and alfa doesnt check it unless you file a claim. so state farm probably cant beat it until my record is clean.
