  1. I know man I feel your pain, it sucks to loose your banshee to someone else having fun =(, well who can I send my cylinders out to get them ported? Ok so I basically decided I'm gonna run the 4 mil crank and new pistons, and Ill also send them out to get ported. Do I have to run an aftermarket head?
  2. That's perfectly fine if your an anal bustard lol, I would much rather hear about everything now than two months from now when I have a problem and someones like oh you could've easily prevented this by doing this or that, or decide I need more power. So I've been looking for this kit. What do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...T&viewitem=
  3. Yea I don't want to go all out, but I want it done the right way. If I have to replace the crank why not get some more power out of it. My goal is to keep it around 800 dollars total, all labor will be me. Does it make sense to do the clutch and such as well?
  4. Why stock crank? While Im in there wouldnt it make sense to upgrade?
  5. Its an 03, doesn't appear to have been bored before. Has pro circuit pipes, trinity 2 into 1, reeds. Very minor mods and I mixed the first tank of gas the others they did.
  6. A while back I let my buddies borrow my shee because they wanted to go on a trip up north (I had to work and couldn't go on the trip) big mistake. They come back and said that after like 5 hours of non stop riding it randomly shut down and they couldn't kick start it (or push start it). After kicking some ass for a couple days and feeling sorry for myself for letting them take it I start tearing her apart. First thing I notice is that it really wont turn over at all. Second when I took the right exhaust pipe off there was metal shavings inside it =(. I get down to the cylinders and they appear fine, on the head there are marks and on the pistons, but very minor. I thought it was maybe the rings, but no luck. My right side crank bearing let go. What do you think, was the primary cause? Poor oil/fuel mixture? Riding 5 hours straight or the combo of both? Now that its all apart what do I do? I know I need at least the crank, but while I have it apart does it make sense to bore it and put new pistons in? What kind of crank should I get? Any help is much appreciated
