    I read somewhere that reading a av gas plug is just like regular gas except the plug will be gray vs brown. Can't remember if that was in the shouter the other day or on the site. So im guessing look for the thickness of the smoke ring on the plug vs color. Got pics of those plugs?

    Are you going to paint these wheels or buy them already black? If you want to paint, try the plasti cote suff. That way if you dont like it you can peel it off and go back to the stock look.

    clockwise on the air screw makes it richer. if youre at 3 turns out, you need a bigger pilot jet. where was the air screw before? i think you should go back to where it was on the air screw and adjust the idle screw and possibly the throttle cable at the throttle housing.

    keep the setup youve got or sell it and buy a 4 mill cub. dont try to fit a 4 mill crank in there with blasty pistons and custom domes for a stock stroke cub. i doubt youll be happy with the results.

    260 is the size of stock mains and is too lean for pipes and no lid. 290 sounds close but no way to know for sure without a plug chop.

    2.5 turns on the air screw means that the pilot is too big. Should be around 1-1.5 turns. How does it run with the air screw turned in some? 27.5 sounds right. I can't imagine that you should have to go back down to the stock 25's.

    Im sure you can drill some holes in the grill for the Maier rivets to go in or modify it like I did. I would just get a jds customs grill that's made for the Maier cover.

    i modded one to fit a maier rad cover and it looks ok but it was a pita. i cut the ugly tabs off and the center piece floats as its not connected to anything. i took some aluminum and bolted it to the both sides and made a bracket in the shape of an"L" that bolts to the side mounting holes for the rad cover.

    i ran 290 mains with a similar setup to that at 300' asl. start rich and work your way down. 27.5 pilots as surfrjag said.

    fuel line is 1/4". the line in the ebay link is correct.
