You could use a spacer plate instead of the portwork but its not worth it. You would probably make more power with a stock stroke. You will 795 series pistons only if you get a long rod crank, (which I'd do). Shaving the head is not the same thing as stroker domes. You can machine the head to make the dome area "deeper" as the pistons will be 2mm higher at tdc now.
