  1. didn't know pro circuit made a power core silencer. :ermm:
  2. figured it had something to do with cooling but wasn't too sure. thanks for the help fellas. this info will help me out in my decision of what elkas to buy... :ninja:
  3. me neither. not a fan of 1/2 cut rears. fronts look good, but if you cut the rears completely (or atleats almost completely) off then hes gonna have to cut the fronts completely to even it out. but thats just my .02, if he likes it thats really all that matters.
  4. just wondering what the difference between shocks with piggyback reservoirs and shocks with remote reservoirs is. and is one better than the other?
  5. im gonna have to pass.... :ermm: yeah right, can't beat free 99. COUNT ME IN!
  6. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/rvs/1230545220.html almost seems too good to be true.... :ermm:
  7. you need to figure out your compression before you decide what domes to buy. do you atleast know what your timing is set at? and your elevation? generally speaking you should be fine with 21cc domes, but depending on your timing and elevation you may be able to run smaller domes and still be able to run pump fuel.
  8. im rockin an HJR dune port.
  9. do you want to run pump gas, 50/50 pump/race mix, or straight race gas? whats your current compression?
  10. i'd take one in silver if you made a duner version with paddle tires instead of knobbies.
  11. just as the title says. holla at me if you got one you wanna get rid of. oh yeah, pics and price needed. thanks, alec
  12. only thing running too high of octane (which is what you would do if you ran 21cc domes) will hurt is your wallet. i can tell you right now that 110 is too much for your bike. but, as for which domes to buy to make full use of the 110 the only way to find out is to do a compression test.
  13. did you search av gas as one word or two? when i searched it as two words nothing came up, when i searched avgas loads of threads came up.
  14. yeah, i work for ups and even i say their costs are high (no employee discount, yeah it's BS), so if i can help it i usually try and go with usps. i'll never go with fedex though. but for anybody that doesnt know, if you ship your stuff from a UPS center and not a UPS store its about 10-15% cheaper.

no joke, his hand looked like he was wearing a mickey mouse glove. showed a ton of heart by not throwin in the towel though.
  16. your bike could easily pull a 10 paddle hauler (straight paddles) on a 10 inch rim easy with the mods you have listed. a 10 paddle edge (v paddle) should be no sweat.
  17. thanks for the new screen saver dave! good idea. you know 278, ive seen monster energy clothes come in a lot of different colores, blue and black, green and black, white and blue, etc... im sure you could get some graphics or stickers custom made for a monster theme but different colors than the normal green and black.
  18. i voted 185, but i meant to vot for 180 (mind was thinkin 180 hand clicked 185). i've always been told and read that 165 was the cut off for pump gas. im in the 155psi range on my bike and have no problems on straight 93 octane pump gas. but based on the 165 being the pump gas cut-off, i figured a mix of pump and race fuel should be good thru atleast 175 psi, so 180 is where i would start running straight race gas. but im pretty new to this octane vs compression thing so my reasoning could be off.
  19. thats tight, refreshing to see a an energy drink theme besides monster. whats on the seat, nn? oh yeah, welcom to the HQ!
  20. soooooo.......are you gonna? i feel like makin some random ass craigslist adds.
  21. im 32-0-0 with 31 KO's and 1 submission (such a PITA to get a submission), 5'7" with 70" reach @ 170 lbs... bring it beyotch!! lol all of this is on easy though.
  22. only way to find out if he knows anything is to ask questions. tell him what you want and what kind of riding you do, he SHOULD be able to suggest a certain type of port for your riding style, if he cant do that then i say you find somebody else for the job. if you have any doubts about the guy, call a few other builders ( HJR, F.A.S.T, wildcard...etc.....) and go with who you feel most comfortable with. as said, you get what you pay for and the wait with any of the builders i mentioned is definately worth it. edit: forgot to say that if you wanna find out how long it "should" take for somebody to port your cylinders that you basically gotta call or e-mail other builders and ask how long they generally take. this seems to be the time of year when most people are sending their motors and cylinders in for work so it will probably take atleast 3 weeks (dont quote me on that though).
  23. are you asking how long it will take you to port your own cylinders?
  24. which dunes are you wanting to go to?
  25. same here. besides whatever comes on them when i buy them i never lube them. all it does for me is make the sand stick to the chain.
