so i finally got around to re-installing the spring i had powdercoated for my rear axis shock and i threw it on my bike to see what it was like. well, it turned out to basically be a pogo stick. lol. so i figured alright, maybe it just needs to be recharged right? nope. i took it to a local shop here and had them recharge it for me. i get home and throw it back on my bike and what do you know, its still bouncy as fuck. . no biggy right? maybe i just need to adjust the compression and rebound on it.....i then go to turn the compression knob and it keeps freakin turning like it has infinate adjustability...i doesnt stop turning/clicking. i can turn it either clockwise or counter clockwise and it just keeps clicking with no effect on the compression rate of the shock. so im like, WTF!? i then try adjusting the rebound and it seems to have no effect on the bouncyness of the shock either!
basically what i want to know is:
1.) why am i able to turn my compression knob in either direction like 100 clicks?
2.) why dont either the compression knob or rebound adjustment have any effect on the shock?
and 3.) why the hell is my shock so springy? lol
