straight garbage. THE worst paddle tire out there. if you have to have a v-paddle then go with either sandstar or skat trak edge. personally i wouldnt spend my money on anything other then a straight paddle.

sorry guys, im not REALLY lookin to sell them as of right now. thats more of a last resort, especially shipping all the way to the east coast. if i cant sell them locally or trade them to one of you guys for a set of blue within in the next couple of weeks i'll put up a price. -
rear silver fullbore

TTT i picked up a brand new blem silver from fullbore innovations to match the rear (have about an hour of ride time). im still lookin to trade for a full set of (uncut) blue fullbores. dont want to sell unless you are local because of shipping costs. you can see pictures of the plastics on my bike in the banshee picture thread. if you want to see more pics let me know. -
by the way i meant .08 ohms not .8 ohms. and .3 ohms not 3 ohms.

your very first post on this forum is a for sale ad? do you have any way of showing others you aren't gonna fuck them over? maybe some ebay feedback? -
so im pretty sure i found my problem. i tested the stator and all seems well. the ignition coil however is shot (i think). it tested at .8 ohms for the primary and im pretty sure its supposed to be somewhere around 3 ohms? the secondary test resulted in a lower number as it wouldnt even give a reading. with that said, should i buy an oem replacement or should i just fork out the extra doja and spring for a dyna or nology coil? btw, thanks for the help guys! its much appreciated!

so i adjusted the pick up gap both in and out and i got nothing. i also took the timing plate back off and did find the little ground wire disconnected so i hooked it back up but it still didnt fire up?!?! i fuckin hate electrical problems! . any more ideas?
-
when i set it i just used a playing card to measure the gap. not sure if thats the correct way to do it or not. if it is, am i supposed to be able to slide the card in and out pretty easily or should it be a little bit of a squeeze? as it is now it doesnt feel like the card is being pinched or anything when i slide it in between the flywheel and pick up. maybe i'll just mess with it a little and see if closing or opening the gap will get her to start.

yeah, buy the haulers. if you like tree shots and drag racing then go with 22" tire on 8" rim. if you are more into just playin/duning then a good all around tire is a 20x10x10 hauler. both the edge and hauler will hook better then a gecko. a stock knobbie would probly work as well as a gecko. ha

i got one for price of shipping. pm me your address if you want it.

100% agree'd.

so ive been running a modified stock timing plate for a while and decided it was time to install an adjustable timing plate. anyways, after i got it installed and put back together when i tried to fire it up it wouldnt start. i now it started fine before the install because i went riding on thursday and had nor problems gettin her fired up. before i get to tearing back into it i wanted to here what you guys thought it was. the only thing i can think of is either the pick up gap isnt set right (dont know if that would prevent it from starting or not) or when i removed the stock timing plate theres was a little black wire that was attached to it (ground wire?) and when i installed the pick up on the new timing plate maybe i didnt connect that wire properly? it doesnt seem like its getting any spark either. i replaced the stock plug caps with new ngk plug caps and have brand new plugs with fresh gas in it.

i contacted fox about a quote on the evols for my banshee a few months back. they said nothing about not making the evols for banshees and gave me a quote of somewhere between 1,200 to 1,400 if i remember correctly. and if im not mistaken "THE358BANSH" has evols on the front of his banshee. maybe you just cant use the evols on standard travel arms?
-
if money is of no concern then pick up a set of fox float evols. if the decision is between the normal floats and elkas then i would probly go with a set of elka dune editions.

right on! heres what i'll be camping with vvvv dads truck w/ 28" weekend warrior buddies truck w/ 32" warrior and a couple other trucks w/ trailors. if you see me before i see you stop by and say whats up.

well i'm for sure goin to dunefest. i already bought my ticket, campin in site D. not entirely sold on sandfest. probly wont decide weather or not im gonna go untill a week or two before.
-
wow, that blows. it sounds kinda fishy though....almost as if the person you bought the parts from happend across you at wally world and decided to take it back and sell it twice. the person you bought the parts from would be the first place i looked.

im gonna have to say neither... if you really want a quad for the wifey you should pick her up an ltz400. not quite the power a 450 has but enough to take her where she wants to go. has reverse , elec. start, they're dependable and fun to fart around if you feel like messin around on a 4poke. cant go wrong. now if in reality this is actually gonna be your second quad, go with the yfz. stock for stock, all factory modifications aside (no hrc kit or gytr add-ons) the yfz is the better bike. faster around a track and in a straight line.

dont gls' come stock with like 180ish hp and 175ish lbs (less if its the 2.0 N/A)? how did you come up with a mod to add 325 ft lbs of torque and lose 15hp? lol and arent those 1.8T's only supposed to get like 25-30mpg?
