  1. i dont know that there would be a whole lot of difference between the two. if anything the 22" tire would hook a little harder. i think 10 paddles is the way to go for either tire with the motor you have.
  2. like i said, what YOU are calling an " L" is more commonly known as a " V ". nobody goes around saying, "hey guys i prefer the L paddle sand tire". any and all sand tires with an angled paddle are known (to most not all, obviously) as a V paddle. the reason skat trac says the angled paddle is for turning is because the LACK of sliding. think about it, if you are in a race around a track and you go around a corner, you're gonna want a tire that wont slide the ass end around. lol, i think im gonna give up on explaining this. its obvious you are gonna think what you want to think which is fine by me. i didnt respond to this thread or your reply to be a dick, i just wanted to offer up some helpfull information to help GNR decide on what tire to buy. im glad your happy with the hauler because it is in every way, shape and form a better tire than any angled paddle on the market.
  3. lookin for 10x5 fronts, doesnt matter what size the rears are. my rears are 10x9 with a 6" offset and fronts are 10x5 with 3" offset. if i remember correctly they end up being about 1 inch deeper offset then the itp's. so your bike will end up a tad bit wider. i only have pictures of the wheels mounted on my bike (still mounted but would be willing to remove if your interested). yup, those are the ones. my wheels are in great shape overall. they arent all dinged up or bent up. the insides of the wheels are a little dull but they are aluminum so they can be easily polished to look like new. and there isnt any rust or pitting either.
  4. hey guys, i'm lookin for a set of itp c-series wheels (the ones with 4 spokes). im willing to either buy them or trade for my polished douglas red label wheels (possibly throw in a little cash on top). i dont care if they are black or polished. thanks
  5. what kind of riding do you plan on doing?
  6. what you are calling an "L" paddle is more commonly known as a " V " paddle. sandstars are a " V " paddle, as well as any other tire with that 45 degree " L " shape.
  7. since you've tightened your chain as much as possible and its still loose have you tried loosening it as much as you can to see if it has enough slack to just pull off?
  8. that would be a desert tank. and yes, you can rebuild the kicker. follow the link ---- http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18088&hl=#topicoptions
  9. i dont know about anybody else, but i would be ashamed to be a member of bhq if loco allowed a company like tirinity to become a site sponsor. p.s. i know im a little late to the party but i had to throw my .02 in there.
  10. sounds like you're letting your bike take you for a ride instead of you riding your bike. would it help if i compared it to tires on a street car? think about it like this....... if you take two brand new ford mustangs to a track (drag strip and race track) and put drag slicks on one (aka the haulers) and a high performance street tire (say toyo proxe r888 (aka a v - paddle) on another and test them out, you will find that the stang with the slicks will out perform the street tire in a straight line ( hauler > v-paddle). the opposite will occure at a race track (v-paddle > hauler). the reason the slicks (haulers) get out performed on the race track is because the lack of side to side traction (a v-paddle is supposed to help with this problem in sand) when going thru the turns, unlike the street tire (v-paddle) which is made for handling. does this make any sence to you? haha man its hard to explain this over the internet. lol, maybe i should make a video and post it on bansheetube.
  11. hey man, you got any pics of the black seat? if you cant get them to load up on here you can send them to my email - [email protected] thanks
  12. i couldnt tell ya man. i dont know if fmf has always stamped their pipes or not. hell yeah bro, still runnin the carbs and the boss intake!
  13. they're not shearers, not t5's and kind of look like fmf's.......maybe bill's pipes? in any case, welcome back!
  14. actually the reason v-paddles were created was so they WOULDNT slide when turning. they are actually made to better your handling because you slide less which results in quicker turning becuase you are able to hold speed thrughout ( similar reason why solid ribbed front tires allow the front end to "slide" less when turning). a good all-around dune tire is the trusty old 20x10x10 9-10 paddle hauler (or extreme). plenty of ass end sliding mixed with solid hill climbing ability.
  15. i think if there is goin to be an HQ ride its gonna be during summer.
  16. when i was lookin for pictures of the blue fullbores i actually came across a couple with green's. in both the pictures the color of the plastic has actually been changed via photoshop or another photo editing program. i believe the first banshee belongs to a member named infinitied or something and his plastics are actually orange but i think the colors have been inverted. the second photo is of titanup's bike that i edited with photoshop to make the plastics green ( i was thinkin about goin with green myself). (real green fullbores will look more like the green in the second pick) im tellin you, it would look fresh green. just look at titanup's bike that i edited!
  17. found the picture of bikes with blue fullbores....or atleast most of them. im sure i have more i just cant find them.
  18. you'll be lucky to find 1 or 2 pics of banshee's with green fullbores. i have pictures of bikes with blue fullbores though. i'll try and dig some up.
  19. if you want rare you should go with the green fullbores. that would look sick with your black chrome frame!
  20. alright fellas, i'm tired of all these show off your trucks, cars, street bikes and what not threads. not to mention all the ford vs chevy vs dodge debates are getting pretty old. so im thinkin its time we make a thread dedicated solely to jeeps! so this thread shal contain nothing but jeep related shit. (pics, videos, modifications or just plain old jeep talk) i'll start it off with a coupl of pics of my ride. '99 cherokee (XJ), 4.0 I6 auto, 3.5 rubicon express super-ride lift with 31x10.50 r15 dick cepek mountain cat ET's
  21. i bought a fully adjustable axis rear shock a few months back for 275 shipped. . they're out there, you just gotta find them.
  22. that problem is probly more common then you think. it usually happens because of a carb slide sticking. its a pretty eas fix, just clean your carbs.
  23. heres a coupl of bikes with purple frames. their not mine, i just have them saved on my computer.
  24. haha, no worries. it happens, people i've known my hole life still call me Alex.
