i got a set of home made 2X12's made up that i dont use if you wanna meet up some time. ill be off tomorrow if you wanna try to meet up then. ill trade u for them fenders lol j/k

no props just yet...we havent made it through a trip to the badlands yet lol. in the two times we went there we have had to have my truck towed twice, broken a reed on jugriggs shee, and broke a crank bearing on mine. ive now rebuiilt both our bottom and top ends and we have freshened up everything else so hopefully (fingers crossed) we will make it through a full day. and we r gonna take the trailblazer this time so we may even make it back home without RDC towing. we should have our backup ready for the trip so just in case we break a quad. and we got 3 more 4 poke probables and 1 more on a bike but they arent list worthy

sounds cool man. I live in franklin and work in greenwood. sounds like we are not too far away. me and jugriggs are always looking for more people to ride with so that should work out good.

yah ill have plenty of tools so you can switch your wheels. (assuming you already have the tires mounted on wheels) we will be rolling through 465 from the south side and taking it to 74 west. so if you wanna meet up and follow us you can. dont know if that works for you but thought id offer. also we will have extra room on a trailer for whoever needs it if you wanna meet up.

yah 40:1 would be fine. youd be safe at 50:1 but you can go 40 for your peace of mind

mine use to be purple. my paint job has held up well for several months now. painting them is not that hard and not that expensive if you have an air compressor. get a decent paint gun and some good paint that will flex and then start sanding and cleaning. i agree spray painting sucks. here is what paint i used and it wont crack. definately not made for plastic but it works better than anything ive seen http://www.kbs-coatings.com/Rust-Sealer_c_2.html

man that looks smooth. did you start with a pre sewn cover or was that out of raw vinyl? i bought a pre sewn cover and it didnt go on as nice as yours

thats pretty much what i was thinking.. the problem is it has 2 valves and one of them is missing. dont wanna spend much money on this thing so i took the other valve out and im gonna try it like that.

ive used it before with mild success. as was said before its all about the prep work. sanding and cleaning should take about 75% of your time. a tiny bit of oil on your plastic and you will get a run from hell. my best success was when i did my 250r fronts and i prepped them a bunch, did about 3 or 4 coats with white letting them dry in between. then several coats of clear coat (really lightly or it will mix with the paint and make it run) letting it dry in between. it held up to a lot of mud and power washing. i half assed the rears cuz i was planning on replacing and it held up pretty shittly like you would expect

lol. that jump was pretty nasty. after i nearly went over my handlebars on it i went over and watched and waited to see if anyone else would get fooled by it....and sure enough there you came along. is everyone planning on getting passes to ride the track this time too. i wouldnt mind to but its not really worth the extra 10 bucks if no one else does

i agree. me and griggs are getting an 87 tecate 4 ready so we can have a backup when we go.... oh shoot hope we dont both brake down lol. well since some others are thinking about camping then i will plan to as well.

got her pretty well tore down. everything looks pretty decent other than some neglect and stupidity. that one in the pic is sweet, ours will never be that nice but it will make a good backup for when one of the shees brakes. yeah the kentuckian did have his teeth. add that to his 3rd grade edyukashin and hes the complete package.

still easier than changing jets and such. just a lot more expensive. i saw the first supercross (dirtbike) race this season where james stewart and chad reed both went down, reeds bike fired right back up and stewarts took forever to get going again. reeds was fuel injected stewarts carbureted

hard to tell with all the dirt but looks like ithe important parts are in decent shape. frame looks clean...have fun fixin her up

i have very similar setup with stock port t5's chariot reeds and pwk 33s and mine actually runs really well all over. obvioiusly not as much on bottom as stock but i ride trails all day with no problems. i love the way it runs and dont wanna go smaller on carbs because id like to port it one day then ill need the bigger carbs. i have 50 pilots and 150 mains
