man loco i gotta give you props. you've successfully argued about motor break in, and torque specs in one thread. now if we could somehow incorporate 2 stroke oil and ratios into this thread we would really have it covered. nice work tj. seems like you know your stuff for only 15. cant go by everything you read in manuals tho, they want you to take every precaution possible. whether its necessary or not. i dont use torque wrenches on quads either. i also have a 89 shee with stock head :biggrin:

if it were for me id want the red that matches my quad. maybe you should just bring a sample of colors and after auction the winner could decide. and if i dont win i can send you mine to coat

just did it to mine. only rode it once but i noticed a hell of a difference. i just cut the old valvestem where it goes from fat to narrow, used a 6mm bolt, nut and washer, put a little silicone on the outside and when tightening down the bolt and nut it will squish the piece of stem thats still in the wheel and seal up perfect. my fronts used to leak down over time and now its been about a week since i did it and they are still full of air. others might say it will affect your handling or put more stress on your lug studs but idk. im happy with the added width. i also have a g force rear and they are almost the same width now. 6 bucks for new valvestems, better than hundreds for new a arms

looks like a high of 55 for saturday. i should be able to make it as long as i can get out of work or have a short day. everyone else still planning on going?

yea i checked your site out briefly. looks pretty cool ill have to keep an eye on there to see when you all are going to haspin. i was mostly just wanting to see if anyone from that area wants to ride for the day. dont care much for mx (it doesnt care much for me either) so that wont be an option. my wife mentioned something about going with me earlier anyway so i may just forget about the riding

my wifes uncle is giving me a small trailer to haul an extra quad or two on. so sometime within the next couple weeks im gonna be heading out to sydney ohio to pick it up. sydney is about an hour north of dayton i believe. i figured if there was anywhere to ride out there i could roll out real early and ride for several hours then go get the trailer in the evening then go back home. figured id throw it out there and see if anyones in the area. it'll be on a saturday or sunday
