  1. Impressive bike. Unimpressed by the video, however. I understand it's the first time being ridden, but I'd like to see more than that.
  2. Another thread where you contribute nothing to the actual topic at hand, and just ridicule people, genius.
  3. For sure. Sounds like we are on the same page then. EDIT- When I was stock, and when I am now modded it was always: 1st Gear -- Not enough gear to ride it out...but fast to stand up. 2nd Gear -- Best all around. Fast to come up, can ride out well. 3rd Gear -- Gotta drop it harder to stand it up, and be higher in the RPMs, and it rode faster and a really good distance (it was just a bitch to bring it up...you really gotta do it right.) The only thing that changed is the speed at which it came up, and how easily it came up (between stock and modded) obviously because of more power. Gearing was relatively the same. 3rd may be easier now. 2nd is cakewalk, my favorite wheelie gear. (Good height and distance, fair speed) 3rd is nice too.... (Fair height, badass distance, badass speed.) I'm always showing off so I've messed around a lot with stunting.
  4. Second gear seems best. When sitting, I can just rev it up a bit, and drop it, and it pops up (easiest from a roll). If you have the stock heel guards and plates, lock your feet into the back lip, stand up, pull back, and do the same thing (carefully, it's easy to flip.) Third gear you can do standing wheelies that you can ride for a while if you do it right. Just practice. That's what I did. Edit- Oh yeah, feathering the rear brake will keep you from flipping. And grab bar wheelies are for bitches.
  5. Dr. Q does some good port work for Zillas.
  6. +1. I wear Nikes Court Force 90s shoes, and I have been riding for years and never been injured (just burned, cut, etc.) Safe? Not at all. But I'm just proving a point....if I can jump stuff and be fine with Nikes, and your boots are giving your problems, something is wrong here.
  7. Buy the stock tube from him. It's worth it.
  8. Buy as new as you can afford, and don't rush into it. Do a compression test. Have a buddy look at it who knows something about quads. If it has a boost bottle...slap the guy and tell him what an idiot he is. If you buy one with a boost bottle....rip it off right in front of the guy, and run it over in your pickup. EDIT- If you get a new one, be prepared to take care of it! I almost wish mine wasn't so nice so I could beat on her more...but I like looking clean and new better.
  9. That'd be great man. I'm always losing carb parts. I'm going to get a new carb setup one day...but I'm tight on cash. I'll throw you some cash for your troubles if I can.
  10. I might need a new slide for my left stock carb if I can't modify what I have...does anyone have anything?
  11. Remove the TORS, then clean the carbs.
  12. My friend ran the aliens and the T5s...he said the T5s made the bike feel lazy, and he went with Aliens. I never ran Aliens, but I run the T5s and love them.
  13. Douse the SOB in WD40. My kicker was being a bitch so I never installed the kit I got...and after several WD40 dousings in an attempt to loosen up the screw, it fixed itself.
  14. It depends on a lot of things. How clean are your carbs? What kind of carbs are they? Air filter? Are the plugs all good? When was it last ran? You shouldn't have to give it much gas. (If any.) If you are having hard starting problems, then there is an issue.
  15. I used Yamalube @ 32:1. Now I run Castor 927 @ 32:1 and I don't plan on going back.
  16. I have a Shimano Curado, Calcutta, and another baitcasting Quantum reel. (All used, all work--will take pictures as requested.) I can get pictures...anyone have any Banshee parts to trade? I need a timing plate, but lmk what else you guys have.
  17. I thought it looked familiar.
  18. I have a few things left over from some installs: Stock Reed Cages Stock Reeds Stock Exhaust (black) Stock Parking Brake Assembly Stock Front Rim, OEM Stock Head I don't know if anyone even wants this stuff, so just make an offer if you need something. If not, I'll probably hold it for spare or chuck it.
  19. Mind if I get a pic? Sounds pretty good, I'll probably end up taking it.
  20. Head & domes?
  21. What kind?
  22. Are your carbs synced? Is the bad sides slide plum? What are your air screws set at? The compression tool can be around $40-$65 @ Napa or Advance. If your check comes up bad, I'd get a check from another gauge to make sure.
  23. He's always helping people from what I see. Good guy in my book.
