  1. Let me know what you find out. I was going to try and help this guy who has T6 headers, and unknown silencers. I have my T5s on my bike, and was going to try and fab some stingers with my left over stock exhaust piping. Is this possible at all? [stingers only...obviously there would be a good amount of fabrication involved...I have yet to actually sit down and look at it, and I still need some pics of his set up.]
  2. Looks like you do some hard riding. I like the color scheme. And welcome to the HQ. There's tons of great guys and here, with tons and tons of knowledge about Banshees. I don't know what I'd do without them...I've saved a lot of money thanks to these guys, and picked up a number of ponies. Do you mean how many ft/lbs of torque a stock banshee puts down?
  3. My local Yamaha shop is actually a Suzuki/Honda/Etc etc. dealer. They don't even really have much for ATV parts, mostly streetbikes. That is what everyone has here in FL, streetbikes, streetbikes, streetbikes... Anyways, they barely have anything in stock and any time I try and get something they have to order it, and upcharge it 1000000000 dollars. And the local ATV shop sucks, and it's a 50/50 shot that he might have them. (Calling him at lunch. he's an asshole.) Everything costs 1000x more from dealers around here because we are one of the richest cities in the country....before the economy our housing market was inflated around 80% because of overspeculation.
  4. I might order the nuts from Jeff, but I really want to get it running for this weekend first. (The acorn nuts would look badass.) Hmmm...the threads were showing on the bottom portion of the studs, maybe 1-2 threads. They appear to be the same thread lengths on each end... I have never heard of this Fastenal, so I googled it...and apparently there is one <1 mile from my office lol, on the other side of the Industrial Park.
  5. Is there any place that would carry the 12mm nuts I need for the head? I would rather get new ones....would an automotive place have them?
  6. +1. Check the temp rating. I heard the clear kits crack a lot or something? I've always been told not to use 'em.
  7. I didn't have a problem hitting any frequencies...in fact, I think it never missed a beat. The difference between it's performance at the volume on 14, and on 36 was definately obvious though. It went from my mirrors rattling to my bed liner rattling, lol. I kinda got rid of it now for parts money, lol...
  8. It really is tempting. I spent more than enough, and it caught up with me lol, now I keep myself on a leash.
  9. Since his sale is through Christmas I think I'm gonna save and get 'em.
  10. Hell yeah, I love the HQ. I'm always getting killer deals.
  11. Should the threads be visible on the studs at all? I already put the two longer ones in the front as you're supposed to, and the threads dissappeared into the jug. The back ones don't go in far enough for the threads to dissappear. Is this right?
  12. Damn fastrthnu. I woulda picked those up in a second... I saw the FAST deals, I might just do that instead.
  13. Define "trails." Trail riding in FL means you will want a mid-top pipe because most things here are flat and straight. I would assume that you are talking about a lot of hills and shit though, which means you'd want a lower ended pipe like PTs.
  14. Good idea about the wrenches. I have one set on the wall, but not the metric! My bike is at my buddys house so I'm just going to use his perfectly organized tool set to work on it. He is picking up my flywheel puller now, so looks like 'Shee should be back together soon.
  15. Post up what you have...anything but stockers. Looking for 28mm flat sides, or 33-35mm Mikuni/Keihns. Whatever you may have.
  16. What's the best way to put the studs in without damaging them at all?
  17. Monkey wrench got the stud out.
  18. THAT is what I'm talkin bout.
  19. The idle screws should have been installed when the TORS was removed. Is all of the TORS system removed?
  20. Hahahaha.
  21. PD is 20-22 so it's probably the same.
  22. Exactly. Low build cost too compared to a lot of other quads, hp for $.
  23. I have multiple sets of wrenches, only one being metric. One of the two sizes missing is the 12mm. Just because I couldn't find one of my wrenches doesn't mean I don't have tool sets. And it is a locking toolbox, and it's in my garage...I shouldn't have to lock it (you would think, at least.) ------------------ @ Jbooker - Thanks dude, I was wondering about that too. (O-Ring Installation) Thanks for the added advice too.
  24. I'll be sure to use the impact then. Thanks.
