  1. The easiest thing to do would be to sell it. Then you have more money for the 'Shee.
  2. Did you turn the flywheel to raise the air node before you started it?
  3. Coolhead > Reeds by farrrrrrr.
  4. You can mod your stock airbox for the overflow tank to mount where the airbox was, under your seat. Edit - or buy a new aftermarket mount.
  5. AUSTRALIAN BRICKLAYER'S REPORT Possibly the funniest story in a long while. This is a bricklayer's accident Report, which was printed in the newsletter of the Australian equivalent of the Workers' Compensation board. This is a true story. Had this guy died, he'd have received a Darwin Award for Sure....... Dear Sir, I am writing in response to your request for additional information in Block 3 Of the accident report form. I put "poor planning" as the cause of my Accident. You asked for a fuller explanation and I trust the following details Will be sufficient. I am a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was Working alone on The roof of a new six-story building. When I completed my work, I found that I Had some bricks left over which, when weighed later were found to be slightly in Excess of 500lbs. Rather than carry the bricks down by hand, I decided to lower them in a barrel By using a pulley, which was attached to the side of the building on the sixth Floor. Securing the rope at ground I went up to the roof, swung the barrel out And loaded the bricks into it. Then I went down and untied the rope, holding it Tightly to ensure a slow descent of the bricks. You will note in Block 11 of the accident report form that I weigh 135 lbs. Due To my surprise at being jerked off the ground so suddenly, I lost my presence of Mind and forgot to let go of the rope. Needless to say, I proceeded at a rapid Rate up the side of the building. In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel, which was now proceeding Downward at an equally impressive speed. This explained the fractured skull, Minor abrasions and the broken collar bone, as listed in section 3 of the Accident report form. Slowed only slightly, I continued my rapid ascent, not stopping until the Fingers of my right hand were two knuckles deep into the pulley. Fortunately by This time I had regained my presence of mind and was able to hold tightly to the Rope, in spite of beginning to experience pain. At approximately the same time, however, the barrel of bricks hit the ground and The bottom fell out of the barrel. Now devoid of the weight of the bricks, that Barrel weighed approximately 50 lbs. I refer you again to my weight. As you can imagine, I began a rapid descent, down the side of the building. In The vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel coming up. This accounts for The two fractured ankles, broken tooth and several lacerations of my legs and Lower body. Here my luck began to change slightly. The encounter with the barrel? Seemed to Slow me enough to lessen my injuries when I fell into the pile of bricks and Fortunately only three vertebrae were cracked. I am sorry to report, however, as I lay there on the pile of bricks, in pain, Unable to move, I again lost my composure and presence of mind and let go of the Rope and I lay there watching the empty barrel begin its journey back down onto me. This explains the two broken legs. I hope this answers your inquiry. I just installed my head, domes, and timing plate. Pro Design Coolhead + 21cc domes, timing +4....definately gave me more punch and power across the entire RPM range. Well worth it.
  8. Damn man if you do bring the bike this way let me know.
  9. Did you get the dune port? Does the prices on the website include labor? (Even the rebuild?)
  10. Welcome to the black T5s, and chrome silencers club. 2008 Banshee....Viper GTS....damn dude, sweet! Flywheel hp. It's all about what hits the ground.
  11. Great deals guys...if you're looking for any quad parts M&M and FAST are both having badass deals on all different sorts of stuff. Buy now before the prices go back up....trust me, lol....I wish I would have waited and bought stuff now.
  12. Worse, stock tire! Lol
  13. Yes, rims too. I run YFZ450 front rims, due to my casing the rock in the ride of shame thread. (Found 'em for sale the next day.)
  14. I can't check it until I get the bike back...it's out at my parents house, gettin it Thurs. I'll check it then and get back to you. Thanks all.
  15. Haha. I'll be in New Hampshire on vacation otherwise I would go!!!!!! If you want to set up another ride sometime after Jan 4, I'm more than down!
  16. Before the build it was around 100 psi each cylinder... not sure what it is right now. (I know I should have checked it already.)
  17. What different ways have you guys cut your fenders? I think I want to drag cut mine.
  18. 21cc... My compression is off according to a $40 Napa gauge.... I need a second opinion. Otherwise, I need a rebuild ASAP.
  19. I didn't gain any top end. In fact, I felt like I lost top end...but now I have solid power. I kinda had a flat spot...power peaked when it hit pipe, flat spot, then power again at top end....now it's on pipe and UNTIL top end. Yes +4. I'm a noob to detonation and I thought I heard it...but shit could have been all the damn ratteling! LOL
  20. Lol, I noticed that too. I thought Shit, there's no way it gained that much power, haha. I didn't do anything with the motor mounts or nothin, so I'll have to look at those. Timing is +4, Pro Design 21cc domes.
  21. Finished the head, domes, and timing install... what do you think? Sound alright? (Not bragging, asking if you can hear if anything is wrong lol...) Seemed to run alright.. to be honest I'm kinda dissapointed. I think it's because I did like 4 things at once from stock, which all added to top end [which spoiled me], and then this filled the gap and picked up my midrange. EDIT - I think I need carbs bad too, that's probably a part of the reason why.
  22. The thing that I don't like about my quad is how bad it gets beat trail riding... I feel like I buy a part, and it doesn't last as long as I should think. Everytime I ride it, it's wear and tear more so than a street vehicle would see. Whether I ride it for 20 minutes or for 3 hours, I still have to clean it for hours after, just to reveal more scratches and scuffs...Know what I mean? To be honest the riding scene around here has gone down hill too... trails are getting closed, cops are cracking down saying anywhere you ride is trespassing, everyone is selling their dirt bikes and quads... I have been riding for as long as I can remember, daily-weekly, and all weekend every weekend... it's what I am good at, and what I love to do, but I feel like I'm in a losing battle here... I'm going to be going on vacation in two weeks, so I'm just going to ponder this until I get back in early January...
  23. ...sellin the 'Shee and pickin up a street bike...I live in FL so streetbikes are a lot bigger here, and I can use it year round pretty much... I'd rather have both, but going through college and shit it's not going to happen... What do you guys think?
  24. Open up the thumb throttle assembly and make sure everything is in good shape....make sure cables are lubed (and no binding)...make sure slides are okay too.
