  1. Dang, I guess you definantly felt that one the next day haha
  2. I burnt up the clutch doing doughnuts and stuff in my back yard and winter was coming soon so I decided I wanted to rebuild while I'm not riding it. Im getting the frame powder coated soon, it was suppose to already be done, but I had a few set backs, after that just got to order a new radiator and gas tank cover then all the little details, then I might upgrade the suspension... If not that will be next winter
  3. What the heck you selling the shee for man sell the 4-poke
  4. :yelrotflmao: you have some good ones. It's great to hear all these because when it's just you and your buddies you feel so dumb then you hear all these and your like wow every one is just like me haha
  5. The motor is almost done just waiting on the water pump cover to come in. Just got my clutch cover insert (it says banshee on it and has flames coming off), stainless steal bolts for the stator and clutch cover, new gaskets for the water pump and clutch cover, and I threw some new plugs on. Just thought I'd share.
  6. These are great haha keep them coming guys
  7. You know you could have pulled out the key switch cut the wires and twisted them together until you got home then soldered them back to the switch man
  8. That last one is hilarious, haha :yelrotflmao:, thanks for the laugh man. Back when I had my old as dirt Suzuki 250 dirtbike, I was going to this place we camp about a 3 hour drive away and I was rushed when packing so I get down there get ready to ride and realize I left the gas valve on and forgot the spare gas at home the closest station was an hour drive
  9. Looks like Tim is done running from the popo :yelrotflmao:
  10. I thought it would be interesting
  11. As peterlocal22 said check out my sig. As far as the carbs I wondered the same thing, recently a guy on here did a bunch of dyno tests and what not and he was able to prove that twin kehein 28mm carbs had the same low-mid power, but more mid to top as a 2 into1 35mm kehein set up, I personally have found that the stock carbs work great for a trail ported stock stroke motor, just get them dialed in. Stepping up to 28mm gives you a little gain, but not enough to be worth spending $300+ on a new set of carbs, just get a T.O.R.S. removal kit from Jeff
  12. forgot your drain plug huh lol
  13. No one else has any O.S. moments?

    TRX 90 PARTS

Sounds like your building a pit bike... Too bad your not looking for a YZ 85, I know someone who's got a fully rebuilt 110cc big bore 85, and a bolt-on 85
  15. Happy new years, I don't have to worry too much about shitty weather, but it's -20F here right now and probably will be for the next weekish
  16. Don't worry about the post man, I havn't been here very long, and I'd say about 50-75% of mine are helping people and the other 25-50% are BSing. This site is really just to help people and just have some fun, but in the short time I've been here there have been alot of people messing that up (example-porn spammers) but your posts aren't important it's what you get out of the site, so don't worry about your status just stick around and help others with the knowledge you've obtained which I'm sure is alot beings I've been here like 6 months and have learned so much between this site and working on the shee and applied previous knowledge I had. So just have fun and help others
  17. That would suck, he probably had coolant everywhere on his test start up
  18. Haha these are pretty good, keep them coming
  19. Jack and coke... That would explain it haha
  20. Your thinking of the T-6's buddy. The T-5's are one of the top pipes for everything from stock through a mild duner and they really shine in a trail bike
  21. I just thought it would be cool to here about some of those moments where you guys are working on your shee and your in the zone, drinking beer got the classic rock station on and you step back to look at your work and realize "OH SHIT, I messed up." Mine was after completely getting the motor back together and looking at it going this is going to be sweet "OH SHIT I didn't lube the crank seals so had to tear it all back apart. The next day my friend was jacking around and some how managed to get a tiny screw in the lower case therefor tear down #3, but working on the shee is always fun so it's all good
  22. Here's what I did to mine and if you read all the way throught the post, at the end you'll see I just added a 500 degree clear coat on top of the black... The came out great. Ceramic Coating
  23. I agree with loco on this one, it's kind of like plastic surgery you can change your appearance and your shape, but you are still you, as long as it's got the banshee based motor and frame it's still a banshee. However, if you put a shee motor in another quad then it's more of a heart transplant, and just putting your heart in someone else doesn't make that person you.
  24. Just wanted to give another update, I did my clutch cover in this way... Then I used the Dupli color engine enamel clear coat on the pipes, cylinders, and cover and they came out even better, but you don't have to bake the clear coat just spray it on... do 3 coats wait about 10 minutes in between coats
  25. I said I'd post pics so here they are, I used the JB weld and it came out great. The lighting was bad so it's making the case have a silver or grey tint, it's black trust me, and it's clear coated so the light is reflecting a little
