  1. It even comes with a half gallon of case oil and a box of junk. Good deal
  2. 27.5 Pilots
  3. I got a new clutch and Hd springs from Kevin Herr. All Yamaha parts, so it probably a FZR clutch.
  4. I saw your quad before, but did not like the look with fenders. I will have to live with getting a bit more muddy now. But I do still have my uncut plastics if I change my mind.

    Idle Screw

You can buy the screws on their own. Check M&M Atv. I think I have seen them there before. I got mine from Ronnie's mail order.
  6. I added a 5.5 gal Clark tank and cut plastics. The tank is huge. I am still undecided about the look, but hopefully it will grow on me.
  7. Does anybody run an outerwear air box cover. I had to remove the elastic and add velcro to the sides to get it to fit right. With the elastic sides it would leave a gap along the edges of the air box. Hopefully it helps keep water out of the filter when splashing through mud and puddles
  8. I am running 320's right now with stock carbs. Aggressive trail port by HJR. FMF fatty's. Open air box with K&N. The rings look a bit lighter in the photo, probably from the flash. I will go up a couple sizes and wait for the snow to melt a bit mere before I go out again and see how it looks.
  9. So I did a plug chop after a winter rebuild with HJR aggressive trail port and new top end. Temp was 53 deg and I usually ride around 65 to 70 deg. Do I thing it is a bit lean, but will it be right when the temps warm up?
  10. What is a CMM, and what numbers did you get for stock bore pistons?
  11. If using the compression ratio link, what is the standard gasket thickness to use. I don't have one with me right now to measure and want to try the calcs.
  12. If the threaded end of the compression tester is not as long as the spark plug, how much lower will it read. I can not find my tester, and borrowed one with threads that are about 1/3 the length of the spark plug.
  13. Just take it apart and put 2 o rings back in. Then squish it in a vice to get the screw back in. No more rattle and no flopping around while riding. I think it was Blowit's idea in an old post, but it works great. Put a bit of grease on the shaft when you put it back together as well.
  14. What do your disks look like. If they are chewed up or warped they will eat pads. Same if your caliper pistons are sticking. Your pads should last way longer than a few weeks. I ran EBC pads all last year on mussy trails and they are still about 75%.
  15. Gadgers are tough as nails. He probably took off like a bullet after he was cut free. Like Rusty1100 said, I wouldn't like to be close when he got out of that. In Africa they are called a Ratel, and even lions don't usually fuck with them. Their skin is really loose and they can turn almost right around inside their skin if something grabs into them.
  16. A recreational toy that can get very heavy if you have to push it back to the trailer.
  17. I have owned 3 of them. 1 LC with the same motor as a banshee and 2 powervalve versions. They don't handle as good as a modern crotch rocket, but they are fast. Great fun to ride, just a but of clutch in second or third will get the front up. If you have the cash, buy it. You will not regret it.
  18. I found this on my trailer where I was working on my banshee. It is rubber with "do not remove" printed on it an and is about the size of a quarter. I had the carbs, airbox and plastics off before I found this. There was no oil on it and id does not smell like gas. What do you think, is this something from my quad or garbage.
  19. Sound a bit suspicious. You don't have to be embarrassed to say its yours.
  20. Add some punctuation and correct your grammar so we can understand what you are trying to say.
  21. You can also grind the slots in your swinger 1/4 inch or so longer. This will give you a little more adjustment room. Not everyone has good things to say about half links on the forum. Check your bottom roller as well.
  22. A stock RZ motor puts out about 60hp as set up in the road bike, while a stock banshee motor puts about mid 30 hp. Not to sure what the RZ will put out with inframe pipes in a banshee though.
  23. I bought a set of plastics from Chris. great guy to deal with and super fast shipping. Thanks a lot. Rod
  24. What size are you going to go with
