Valin replied to Valin's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Reeds have been sold. The head and domes are still available. -
I am selling a stock length swingarm and skid plate that are both fresh wet black powder coated. They have been mounted, but have not been run since they were coated. The swinger has new bearings in it, and does not come with the chain sliders. I am selling because I went with a +4 swinger instead, and the skid plate does not mount up to it. Swinger and skid plate - $125 + ship Just the swinger - $75 + ship Skid Plate - $50 + ship Picture when it was first coated: Picture when it was mounted:

The combustion chamber is the entire area above the piston in which air and fuel gets compressed. It is the head volume in an engine. You need to do it in the motor for this to be accurate to take all things into consideration.....ie. piston dome, deck height, etc.
-
I am unsure of how they actually measure the volume of the domes they sell. Maybe when they sell 22cc domes, that really means that the volume of those domes, when referenced on a flat surface is 22cc. I would find it hard to believe that is actually how they do it, because that would not be your actual head volume. Correct me if i'm wrong. Unless you are running perfectly flat pistons, with a 0 deck height, that is not going to measure your head volume for your motor. You need to do it with the head installed in the motor. With the motor sitting so that the cylinder heads are perfectly flat (you might have to jack the motor/bike in order to do so), bring your piston to TDC, and then, using a syringe (I use 10ml syringes), fill the head up with a liquid (I use oil or water) until you reach the bottom of the threads in the spark plug hole, keeping track of the amount of liquid you use. 1 ml = 1 cc. Do it twice to verify your measurement. When you have filled up the cylinder, simply lower the piston slowly to allow the liquid to run out of the exhaust port (do it with no exhaust on it).

I am selling a Memphis 16-MCA3004 4 channel amplifier. It retailed at $555. I'll take $200 + shipping, or trade for: -Trail Tech lights in great shape -billet intakes for 33-35mm carbs -Racetech rear shock valve kit, or aftermarket rear shock set up for +4 swinger -new FAST clutch kit or equivalent to support a 421 cub -lockup and cover -Billet intakes for 33-35mm carbs -aftermarket stator cover - ??? It is in perfect working condition, and has a few slight scratches on the surface. I'd rate it an 8 out of 10 for cosmetic, and 10 out of 10 for performance. Here is a picture of it when I was installing it. It is the amplifier on the right. Specs: # 4-Channel MClass Series Amplifier # Compact Aluminum Chassis with Custon Black Pearl Finish # Gold Plated RCA Connectors # Full MOSFET Design # Fully Variable Crossover: HP/LP (40 Hz - 6 kHz) # 4-Way Protection Circuitry # Platinum Finish Wire Connections # Accepts 4 Gauge Power and Ground Wire # Optional Wired Remote Gain Control # RMS Power Ratings: * 75 watts x 4 chan. @ 4 ohms * 115 watts x 4 chan. @ 2 ohms # Adjustable Input Sensitivity: 250mV - 5V # Dimensions: 18.5" L x 7.6" W x 2.4" H

Banshee has slight surge at WOT HELP PLZ
Valin replied to crazyj789's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
When you hold it down, does it surge, then come back on, then surge, then come back on again, etc......, or does it just die off on top end? If it is surging like I have described, I would be checking your crank seals. If it is just laying down on top, sounds like it is more than likely fuel related. -
A few things up for grabs: 64.75mm non ported cylinders in pretty good shape. 64.75mm pistons only - no rings stock reeds stock intakes with x-over tube I was asking $200 for all of this. I will throw a fresh coat of paint on the cylinders before I ship them out. I am willing to trade for or towards ??? -Trail Tech lights in great shape -Racetech rear shock valve kit, or aftermarket rear shock setup for +4 swinger -FAST clutch kit or equivalent to support a 421 cub -lockup and cover -Billet intakes for 33-35mm carbs -aftermarket stator cover - ???

Are you still interested in selling these parts? I have not heard back from you..... Bump for ya.

Yes, antiseize is an absolute must for stainless hardware, when using stainless bolts and lock nuts together. When I just use stainless bolts into steel, I use locktite. I have only ever had issues with stainless bolts into stainless nuts, when not using antiseize. I purchased one of those Alloy Boltz kits, and had no issues with it. The only thing was that I wished it came with rear carrier bolts. Other than that, no issues. I do remember them being a pain in the ass to deal with, and it took them forever to ship it.
