  1. For any of you guys who went on Thanksgiving, how bad was the weather?? I heard it rained like hell.
  2. Just got back from Buttercup today and the big differance from last Feb. is that they now direct you in to buy your camp permit. $40 per vehicle for the week. However you can get it cheaper online.
  3. Just got back today from Buttercup, weather was perfect. Going back in Feb. and was wondering if any of you guys have ridden from Buttercup to Glamis? If so how far is it and can I make it on a tank of gas?

  10. From what my chromer told me is pwder coat would never hold up over chrome. My personal opinion is that is just too nice of a frame to risk. Try it on some used stock frame first. Like I said earlier I have seen it done and was surprised at how much I didn't like it. It was just to much.
  11. Those welds look really nice from what I can see, your guy does nice work. The thing with chrome is it won't go into an inside convex very well. Best way to describe that is for you to look at the back side of a chrome bumper. I personaly can"t say if that would be an issue or not with your frame as I am not an expert on chroming. If it were a matter of trying out a new paint or pwder coat I would say go for it, you can always change it but with chrome your pretty much stuck with whatever results you get, good or bad and that doesn't look like a frame you would want to experiment with.
  12. I'v seen it done before looks good for maybe the first 6 MO but then every weld joint starts to show rust. I talked to my chromer about it and he said that there are just too many places on a frame were the chrome won't adhere. there is a powder coat chrome that might be a better option.

  15. My bike is set up for the dunes with a mild play port, toomy t-5's. k&n, v-force reeds. I found that a 4 plus swinger was just a little too long as I like to bring the front up when I want, so I had a 3" extended made.
  16. mailto:[email protected]?subject=Ported%20Banshee%20Cylinders%20-%20$300%20(Arvada,%20CO) just seen these on den craigslist. hope the link works.
  17. I ordered a tank shroud from them and it arived very well packed, not so much as a rub mark.
  18. found them to have pretty good prices as well, shipping is a little pricy but not an issue if you order multiple parts as they will combine shipping. Fast shipping as well, overall good company.

    9 words women use

9 WORDS WOMEN USE (1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up. (2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means at least a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house. (3)Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine. (4)Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It! (5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a nonverbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.) (6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake. (7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' ... that will bring on a 'whatever'). (8)Whatever: Is a women's way of saying F* YOU! (9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

    unique setup

hard to tell exactly off of a picture but it looks as though the axle is ridged with no piveting spindals which in my opinion would be the problem. With the current set-up the only way to compress the suspension is to force the tires to slide outward acros the pavement. If you want to do it right get a used set of banshee or blaster a-arms off e-bay (uppers as well as lowers)plus the spindals and hubs.
