Sounds like you have the skills, my only thought is that you should make all new ones with better joints or just save yourself the headache and get two inch offset rims.
If you use the stock carrier you will need a new break line, however if you upgrade to a roundhouse carrier you should be able to use the stock line being that the caliper gets re-located to a more forward postion.
so what are you lookin for?? Let's not talk cost of materials, how much time do you think it takes to recess that light into the tubing while making sure the structural integrity is not lost? I simply offered it as an option bro.
one trick you might try when installing your bearings is to put them in a freezer for a few hours and your swingarm in the sun for the same. bearings will slightly shrink and swinger will expand.
ya, I just purchased a podos racing swingarm off e-bay for $425 shipped. It included the round house carrier and was chromed. They also custom made it with a 3" extension instead of a standard 4" for no additional charge.
Going with a slightly larger diameter tubing in order to better recess the light. The light itself is costructed with a high impact lens, metal housing and can easily be replaced for under $25.
gona make about twenty or thirty of these but it'll take at least a couple of weeks to get all the materials in. so when I get a few completed I'll re-post with close-up pics. Thanks for the great feedback guys.
probably around $120. unfinished, $140 powdercoated and would have to get you a price if you wanted it chromed. I'm not really set up to do a mass quanity of these but I could do a few of them.
