    28mm Carbs

lookin for a set of 28mill carbs for my banshee. I have only 1 running carb and I want to ride my shee. so im looking for a set of 28s to fill the void. im looking under 200 if possible.
  3. still got em. going on ebay later on today.
  4. i dont think its entirely because your a newbie your selling what looks like a decent set of pipes for $200 thats way below what everyone else sells pipes for and its your first post. and you never told anyone what sites your a member of so thats kinda odd to. and usually if your first post is selling something why would you join bansheehq just to sell something when you know you get more money on ebay. just a few points there are a few more so you see why people think your a scammer.
  5. unless he re-oiled his filters after that hes probably going to need to do a rebuild fairly soon.
  6. I got these carbs locally and they are too big for my bike. the guy I bought them from told me that the chock was modified by pro circuit so that the rider only had to pull up one choke. they are missing springs and one of the top angle pieces. comes with a couple extra jets 2 spare needles and 1 spare slider. Im really looking for a trade for 28s that would be the most preferred option but I would let them go for 225 shipped
  7. I have these carbs and I realise they arnt going to work for my banshee so I need to get rid of them what are they worth they have everything including a couple extra jets but they dont have the springs. thats the only thing missing
  8. I think the banshee will be remade. Everything is about profit if they can come out with a new and improved version that the original banshee owners like they'll do it. examples like camaro challanger charger gto fordgt. the list goes on.
  9. this guy payed $3500 for beadlocks? seriously? I dont have beadlocks or razers but wouldnt it be closer to 1800 (with sand tires) assuming he got ripped off on each tire/rim.
  10. I just picked up a set of carbs for a really good deal off my local craigslist. they are pwk 36s. i am going to get my motor ported really soon and im basicly going to go stock stroke with agressive trail port. Im wondering if that is going to be too big for my setup. Iv heard of people running 34 and 35s so im not really sure. other motor mods are toomey t5s K&N with stock box +4 timing and prodesign impeller. Im going to install a cool head as well aiming for 160psi compression.
  11. I hate when sombodys doing a huge partout and you have to read through 3 pages of posts to find out if 1 item is sold. Its so much easyer when people just edit the first post.
  12. ill take the smorsh
  13. how can a STOCK banshee be too fast it barly moves.
  14. well I am porting and going to a 4mill in janurary and now at 115psi im kind of thinking I should do a rebuild too. Im not installing the domes until I have it ported. Im low on cash like I cant afford to go to a 4mill but I am anyway Im a student. whats your opinions on rebuilding or not?
  15. its not ported and I dont know the bore and piston size i can check that in the next couple days.
  16. how much compression does a freshly rebuilt banshee generally have? Just want to get an idea of where my engine life is around
  17. I just bought a cool head but I need to buy domes I dont know what size to go to. I am at sealevel I have 120psi in one cylinder and 115psi in the other. I want to run pump gas. I was thinking 20cc domes but I dont know for sure is there any type of calculation that I can use?
  18. i filled in the hole with epoxy and at first the cylinder turned on it idled and warmed up for a while and then when I went to drive away it just did nothing and went back to the same old problem. while I was doing that I did a compression test and realised the spark plug on the cylinder that wasnt working was black as shit and wet with gas. should it be that color? i dont really know what fouled plugs look like but could it be that?
  19. i would like to see someone try to buy it and see what happens
  20. i went through this same situation. I just gave up after time and bought a bottle of armor all trim spray from the local hardware store. I had pretty much given up the only thing that worked was painting them but that was a huge pain in the ass. but armor all made all my bikes shine I have a 91 honda trx that looks like its 2 or 3 years old this bitch was scratched up baddd. this is a picture of my yfz its been rolled several times and needs new plastic but after a 2min wipe down with armor all it looks like new. if the bike gets dirty you have to re apply but it takes 2 seconds i just do it when the bikes still wet works good. it costs like 6bucks. I had to resize the picture cuz it was huge so my bike looks to skinny but you get the point.
  21. if you dont do the banshee now you wont later with that camero because your gas bill will double and the banshee will forever be forgotten.
  22. i forgot to say Im thinking of porting and 4mill crank but im on the fence about going 4mill stroker with short rod. everything is fine on my engine now but people say short rod gives more friction so i thought if I increased oil ratio it would reduce friction
  23. no engine mods I got toomey T5 pipes +4 timing K&N intake and jetted to spec. I orderd a chariot head but I wont install it until engine mods done.
  24. I know short rod cranks are less reliable because they put more friction on the cylinder and pistons. Now if I go to short rod crank and raise my mixture from 40:1 to 32:1 or maybe 30:1 wouldnt that help increase reliability and lower friction? My banshee has good top end and was rebuilt recently and I dont want to buy new pistons and all that because im poor (well not really) on my budget i cant afford to buy all new pistons and stuff so Im going with the short rod crank but I want to get as much reliability as I can.
