  1. i think donkey punchers color scheme is the best. There used to be a guy that had the same sceme but diffrent mods and that was probably the nicest bike Iv seen.
  2. im not an expert but it sounds like your just burning the crap out of your clutch after a couple drags mine gets pretty bad as well but thats because mine's way over its run time and needs a change.
  3. yeah thats exsactly what happens to mine it just cuts out then I give it like a minute break and its good to go again. i checked my stator as well and it was fine i checked my coil and it was all tight but it could be something internal
  4. i posted in the repairs and mods section some sort of electrical or something problem its annoying it stuck together through the trip though made me proud

  5. Ill take a look at your pipes but man I was probably 10 to 15 bikes lenghts infront of him in like 4 or 5 seconds. just pure killed him. now i just have to figure out whats wrong with it.

  6. im not really sure but it was gone I ended up running 165s down there and the needle on the 3rd clip it was a little fat but it ran great just mad power i destroyed my friends yfz and his is one of the fastest ones iv seen. im gonna put some bigger lights on it for night riding thats the best

  8. it was awsome as hell man rode probably 30 hours had some issues lost idle screw from one of my carbs and just filled it with epoxy. but the condos were nuts pure luxery

  9. well i just got back from the dunes and the first day my banshee ran amazing then I went on a night ride and only 1 light worked. then it just shut off like a wire got pulled just like an instant cut. then after some kicking it turned back on again and it rode good with 1 light. Then coming down banshee hill my lights turned off all together. and then in the morning the bike wouldnt start for like an hour of kicking. then once it started it kept turning off when it hit a bump or so and it only had like 60% power. it turned back on if i was going fast and hitting a bunch of bumps. it ran great when it was hot but whenever I gave it a rest or let it cool a little it would keep turning off. then the last day it just wouldnt start and it packed it in. i checked the stator and it was fine im thinking it could be a coil problem or something? anyone had this issue before?
  10. +4 timing might be the cheapest. you can get a modified head from alba for like a hundred bucks. you could get some reeds thats probably your best bet.

  12. my pipes are leaking gas from where they connect to the cylinder. I put new seals in there when i built up the bike however when I look at the pipes connected to the cylinder they have a 3 or 4mm space on the bottom of the cylinder would this cause it or do I need new seals and springs?
  13. yea the best paddles hands down are the sand gekos. Use the search bud its been covered 50billion times.
  14. I needed a starting point for my 30mm okos. My mods are toomey T5s, Vforce 3 reeds, K&N, +4 Timing. Agressive trail port 4mill stroker and 20cc cool head domes. my current jetting on stock carbs is 250mains and it runs prime. I was wondering what jets to put in the 30mm.

  18. that sounds like the case to me as well but I dont have the cash for carbs and I figure if Im buying carbs I might as well pick up some 30mm okos that iv been talking about for what seems like forever. so I figure I will work the street corner this weekend and the next and whatever I come home with I will use towards some new 30mm carbs.
  19. i found the problem but it makes no sense to me. my left carb ( stock) the slide turns and gets stuck. I fixed that and now it seems like the throttle gets stuck at higher rpms. i have no throttle control and it just revs high however when thats happening I can adjust the turny knob on the thumb throttle and the throttle slowly comes down then I can drive for another 20seconds and then im stuck turning the knob in and out? everything seems to be in good shape does it sound like I need a new throttle cable?
  20. my bike just wants to rev like crasy wierdly enough I still have throttle control I can giver and let it go and it comes back to that one point. The slides are both where they should be and the needles are in good shape aswell. the throttle cable is fine and i can hear the slides going up and down when I tap the throttle. I dont know what else it could be?
  21. did you do a compression test? is your timing stock or adjusted?
  22. iv seen a honda with a 600 motor in it and it was fast as holy hell. it was way faster then the crf 450 I was on. I dont agree that a 4 mill at 90hp can compete with them they are super fast. However they are only super fast in a streight smooth line. a 4 mill can do basically anything the street motor bike cant. The pipes were like 4 inches off the ground so any off camper area could have caused some serious damage. I say go for it but you seriously restrict the type of riding your going to be doing.

  24. i cant get the forum to work right for me. It keeps showing me a list at the bottom of people who posted. I hate that it used to show all the posts like normal how do I fix this I clicked on literally everything on the page and it didnt help I went into settings and clicked osme random stuff and still nothing.
  25. i had a similar problem on my bike and it turned out to be the little window in the carb had fallen out. i swapped the carb out and it fixed it. i tryed putting putty and stuff in there didnt work for some reason.
