I have close to the same setup, and I am in the process of adding a cool head w/19cc domes and plan to advance the timing +4. I also plan to add some delta vf3 reeds and possibly remove the airbox lid or add a K&N power lid. This should be good for a few HP, I'm guessing 2-5 throughout the range from what I have read and been told anyway. Next year I plan on getting a mild port job. I hear this is the best $$ you can spend but its just not in the budget this year, plus I dont want to be without the Shee that long since I just got it! Have fun and let us know what you go with and how it works out...

Pick an oil and pre-mix number and stick with it. Get it jetted correctly, read up on and learn about carbs and jetting. You can find many good guides and threads on this forum. Take a look through the Mods, Exhaust, and Jetting sections. Oh and get ready to start spending all your money on all the upgrades you are going to want to do when you get addicted to the rush you get from riding a Shee... Welcome to the HQ... And dont hesitate to ask question people on here are very helpful and know their shit!

You wouldnt want to go much past 15" eye-to-eye for a Shee would you, or are they for extended a-arms or for a craptor?

I am looking for a set of decent stock headlights all black with the little plastic grill that protects the lens all intact.

I have stock foot pegs and heel guards that attach to the fenders... Make an offer... I also have front bumper and rear grab bar and pipes and silencers... All stock off a 2006.

An ugly Banshee is still better than a "pretty" Craptor...

Do you find you need to run 100LL AvGas with the 20cc domes, or do you prefer it? I was curious how it runs on 93oct?

The rider does make a BIG difference... I have beaten several times my neigbor and his Craptor 700... His is pretty much stock, and he did drop to a 13 tooth sprocket for "low end"??? But you just have to be comfortable riding the Shee with it sounding like its going to twist apart, you need to practice your holeshots taking off in 2nd gear if you have the power to do so, and you have to stop giving up until the race is over... Pipe it and get some good filters, regardless this is a must. Drop the stocker tires and just ride it. If you still think its to slow for you look into porting or other $$ mods... My bike is realtively stock and on the trails anyway I can keep up with any of the 4-pokers I ride with, and they are all jealous of how the Shee sounds and smells.... I am always getting, "Man that fucking thing screams, or that fuckin thing is awesome... can I ride it?"or that old school 2-stroke shit is pretty cool.... Have fun....
