  1. Those are great videos... You should post them on zillahq.com... Oh wait... there isnt a zillahq! :ninja:
  2. =playerhaters!
  3. Where do you live in Indiana?
  4. I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know what size threaded rod that was? 7/16, or 11/12 metric? I have the same problem... Left side rear nut inside the frame toast!
  5. If everything else is stock, and your mods are all the ones above then give this a try to start... Go 4-6 sizes larger on your mains, try your needle clip on the 3rd position (middle) and keep your pilots stock and your idle screw 1.5 turns out. This will be a good starting point. Do a plug chop and adjust from there. When you get your mains dialed in perfect you can play with your needle and pilot circuits if you are getting any mid or off idle bog. Stick with adjusting one circuit at a time. Good luck! ...and read BenBB's Jetting FAQ... Its good stuff!
  6. Admins... Sticky this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BenBB's Jetting FAQ is a must read for newbs and people with Jetting questions... Please read this document before asking any jetting questions... You can still ask away, any question you want to ask, but you must read this first... LINK----------> <HERE> http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html This is a document from BenBB... And its really helpful!
  7. I left work on Friday for the weekend... I was not ignoring anyone... I hope the dude who's clutch died got it...
  8. That sucks dude... Dont do anything stupid though...
  9. Yes, it sounds like you are having an issue where somthing is shorting out or making a poor connection. When you rev it up enough voltage is being generated to arc and briefly make connection. When you get your meter check continuity to ground on all of the wires that go from the headlights to the harness, from the dimmer switch to the harness, and and from the harness to the stator side. Make sure your swith is on... Also ring the same wires out and check for resistance in ohms. Let us know...
  10. 150K is too much resistance... I got some NGK caps at a local shop... You can get info on NGK dealers from NGK's site as well... Keep posting updates as you get things worked out...
  11. Its amazing what people get all worked up about... It's not your bikes dude(s)... Go drink a f-in Miller and chill... Long live the +4 Matt.... (Unless it broke on you over the weekend)... Every time I see you FLYING up one of those Coal Hills on Bansheetube, I cringe for your flywheel & crank...
  12. Your not kidding... Thanks NYUK for the goods...
  13. My stock Banshee came with 200's... I have heard of them coming with 210's... And who cares what pipes he has or what he is running... he saod what he had, and asked if he would need to reject... He most obviously does...
  14. The 156 is for 1000' not meters, and I misread... I thought you said 22cc domes... I was wondering! lol  Sea Level 1000' 2000' 3000' 4000' 5000' 18cc 197 178 171 170 165 145 19cc 183 167 160 158 152 137 20cc 169 156 149 146 140 129 21cc 156 145 138 134 128 121 stock 130 125 118 112 106 100
  15. wow... you are getting 150+ psi compression at over 3000' with those size domes??? Are you testing on a cold engine? ANd yes you should be good at +4, just be sure you are running some higher octane fuel at anything over 150 psi...
  16. The link to BenBB's Jetting FAQ should be a sticky at the top of the Jetting Forum...
  17. I have talked to a manufacturer and a dealer. They freely say the get maybe 2 or 3 calls out of a hundred sold for shearing breaking... They have found its becuase the installers are not following the proper torquing procedures... Install it correctly, torque it "using a torque wrench", warm it up, and retorque... I have watched the videos... The PA coal boys ride their fuckin quads hard... I just found out too my brother has a +4 key in his machine... 4 years now... No breaky breaky...
  18. you had the right idea...
  19. Tell me what the shipping $ and your PP addy is...
  20. all stock
  21. It is just fiberglass insulation. I use the FMF 2-stroke white or the pink stuff. It works good. 7 bucks a bag x 2... I'm sure just some good old r-15 with the paper removed would work...
  22. The air screw circuit is for idle and just off idle... If you have the airbox lid off with Fatty's, I agree I would not try anything smaller that 290, or 300's, at 1000ft. Actually with your +4 timing, and other mods I would bet you will be at 310's or 320's or better??? Also read BenBB's Jetting FAQ document... Its good stuff! Good luck...
  23. Old school stock...
  24. GOD!!! You guys are making me want to go scuba diving and get my key!!!
  25. I would check out BenBB's Electrical FAQ document... Its great, it tells you exactly how the kill switch should be wired up, it tells you exactly how the key switch should be wired, and how to eliminate it if desired. It also has good wiring diagrams as well that show the T.O.R.S. system, etc... Also you can buy a newer used harness for pretty cheap on here if you ask around... You can also download the maintenance manual from this site that tells you how the TORS work, and how to troublshoot some electrical problems... Good luck...
