  1. Lootie with the frame picture is pretty damn funny. ha
  2. I think if Firemann and Ray can't or don't wanna try to salvage the business, they should agree to call it quits and then work together to get all the customers satisfied. Firemann this is your chance to prove yourself. Problem is, where in the hell are banshee brians pipes. The answer is simple. Give him his money back or get him a perfect set of pipes ASAP. No excuses. If you dont have the time, or cant find a chromer, or cant get em welded, or cant get him the correct silencers, then refund the money. If Ray has Banshee Brian's money, then ray should give him back his money. Ray I wouldnt sell a single pipe untill you have em in your inventory, you can't trust Firemann-hott to deliver the goods(no offense fireman). I wouldnt take another order untill every last customer posts that they were finally re-embursed or fully satisfied with thier pipes\silecers.
  3. QUOTE(Meat @ Oct 12 2005, 08:47 PM) Here's a little tip to remember next time you post something and there's the smallest chance that you might offend someone. Use Smiles to show your being lighthearted and not mean spirited or..... "coy". oh by the way...... you got BURRRRRNED on that classic passive aggressive little nugget of advice I gave ya. I bet you got all fired up when you read that one. Come on tho, you gotta admit it, i burned ya on that one, in a coy, and passive kinda way too. count that as a double-burn. love ya..... -denny
  4. In other words, a "troublemaker and rude", instead of "not giving a shit" and being a nice guy. Boy, I sure am glad Im not passive aggressive ... ... .. Oh wait..... was I just being passive aggressive ?? just popped into my head.... but who the hell says shit like "passive aggressive" anyways on an freakin' ATV forum? Can anyone here tell me who won last weekends GNCC or who won the #1 GNC plate this season ? I bet alot of us know who Firemann-hott is and the whole Rocket pipe story, or any of the other 50 sub-drama goin' on the BHQ at any one time. I guess I long for the days when a bunch of guys just talked about riding and fixin our quads and everyone made an effort to be nice and helpful. Drama is fun, but when you get my age, the bitchin' and fightin gets old. Thats why I tried to help Firemann and Minkia to make ammends and attend to the business with a fresh start. Should we just continue to berate these Rocket pipe guys ?? Or should we help out with a little common sense toward the Rocket pipe choas ? Where I offered peace between the two parties(which should also help everyone who's having problems with orders and parts) . Or should everyone take your advice and "watch who we align with" because we all want to be on Brooke's good side. I take it long upstanding member Ray "minkia" is on not in your "clique" and if Loco sides with him..... its another checkmark against him. Yea lets just bitch and moan some more, its alot easier. sorry for hi jackin the thread, brooke post your reply to my rant(remember to be all sassy and crap) and then lets get back to the rocket pipe drama.

  6. "watch who you align yourself with" ..... "tarnish a reputation". WTF man, this place is getting weirder & weirder everyday. Loco your nuts for backing down on insults like that, who the hell does Brooke think she is talking to you like that??! Speak your mind and what you beleive is right and dont give a flyin' f**k about aligning yourself.
  7. better late than never. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Im not that old for cryin out loud, altho I do remember the time when a brand new car cost 38 dollars and this whole website was nothin' but orange groves as far as the eye can see.... p.s. Im pretty sure that sneaky nurse is stealin' my money.
  8. Man lose that f**kin' spazmatic-seizure-Hitler allready.... Any chance of both of you forgetting everything and starting completly fresh. Decide to work together and make an effort not to point fingers or lose your temper. Understand a problem when it comes up and fix the problem so everyone is satisfied. Keepin the dealing's in the public eye will keep everyone honest. Setting realistic goals and priorities. Id also suggest that you guys forget the mass producing thing for awhile until you get all the current customers satisifed, your names out of the mud and the quality absolutly perfect. Make em one at time, all by hand, all perfect in quality and shipped in a timly manner. There's a guy in England making custom RZ pipes one set at a time, he's a busy man with alot of orders for his pipes. Firemann I beleive you about all the deaths and crap. That shit sucks man. Don't forget the memorys of these people. Remember all the good times you had with em then slap yourself out of it and get some work done on the pipe business. Pipe business must be your top priority, otherwise sell the business. Don't quit your day job tho . If I were you, I would make it a point to NEVER have any more excuses. If you go blind tomorrow, keep it to yourself and get back to work. Altho I beleive your excuses are legit, you just cant be givin anymore excuses for any reason. These guys will jump all over you if you give anymore excuses. P.S. I love the drama, keep the posts coming.
  9. some people have problems with a product and other never have a problem with the same product. So what does that tell you ? How can I have a set of Janssens and never have A SINGLE PROBLEM with em ? I dont even do half the maintence on my quad that most of you do, I ride it 3 times a week and wash the f**ker once a month. I'll squirt some WD-40 on the heims every once in awhile and they're fine, iv had em for about 4 years now too, maybe 5 years, I think I bought em back in the summer of 2000. Anyways, im not making this shit up, im not trying to coy and Im not a cheerleader for one brand. I call em like I see em and sometimes that gets me in trouble, but next time the guys complaining about fireball or janssen, you gotta add to your statement.... that you talked to people who'v ran em for years and never had any problems. When I have a problem with my Janssens, I'll report back with the details. Just another note, Jannsen's crappy Outlaw A-arms are kicking ass in the GNCC circuit this season. Chris Jenks won the Pro class and the overall a month ago at the Yadkinville GNCC, with Janssen A-arms. The Janssen Outlaw arms are freakin' sweet.
  10. very good point. advantage stroker.
  11. are your clutch alignment arrows lined up ??
  12. Stan no doubt about those ice racers...... Thats the first thing I thought of when I read 2003LimitedBanshee post. shortened the stroke for more rpms. Its just like the modern 4 stroke engine, they engineer these motors to be "square", meaning they have a similar bore and stroke size, the reasoning for this design is to produce a high revving engine. modern crotch rocket is red lining at14,000 rpm. Another example would be the modern compact import sports cars, Honda Civics and Acuras.... hi rpm motors.
  13. Interesting. Anyone care to comment on the small transfer port problem that big bore motors have. I don't think that issue was ever settled.
  14. Just to add to the conversation...... I have 13,000 plus miles on my stock Rz and its supposedly on its original rings and pistons. I had 130psi in both juggs last year around this time. Bike runs 100%, I ride it everyday and regulary run it up to 100mph.
  15. iv got a few video clips of a blue banshee big bore beatin a 4mil in the 300 foot drag, on dirt. big bore setup is not as terrible as the stroker guys make em sound, either motor can be a winner. A well tuned big bore can haul ass and has a big broad powerband hit. I think "big bore" kits should not even be compared with a stroker crank, obvioulsy they're two completly different modifications with the only things in common are they both increase displacement and they both increase power. IMO big bore kit should prolly not be used unless your cylinder sleeves are maxxed out and you need a re-sleeve. Here's a question. Does anyone know the dollar to HP ratio for each setup ?? Someone please tell me a downside of running a 4mil stroker crank. It can't be all good, there has to be a tradeoff when you stroke um, slower revving maybe, peakier dyno runs.... there has to be a scientific verifable disadvantage of a stroker crank .
  16. yea my bad, I meant to say, "put your carbs on your buddies banshee"
  17. I just put an ebc clutch in my Rz last Sunday night. I didnt put the o-rings back in and they clutch is working great. Also, iv put two ebc clutches in my banshees over the years.... with no o-rings and didnt have any chatter or slipage. EBC=no O-rings.
  18. yep coat it with oil.... lightly. You can buy spray-on oil made for foam filters or you can use a lil' 20wt motor oil like we used to do back in the day shake out the excess oil as much as possible before you reinstall it.
  19. try puttnig your buddies carbs on your quad and lets us know what happens.
  20. Look man, your answering your own question here. You didnt have the problem before you cleaned the carbs, you cleaned the carbs and now it wont run\idle right. So...... where do you think you should start troubleshooting ?? Yes, the carbs. Odds are something is outta whack with your carbs, not gonna say thats definitly where the problem is, but common sense says look at the carbs first. There's a buncha things to look for in yer carbs that coulda went wrong. Im going to go out on a limb and guess you swapped the float bowls by accident. The bowls are carb specific. The carb with the choke knob get the float bowl with the brass tube. Did you remove the main jet ? Did you re-install the little brass washer under the main jet ? Double check it. The floats should be set at a specific height, did you check the float height specs? Choke crossover tube in place ? FYI, thats the 2 inch long tube that connects the two carbs. Did you have the pilots removed ? If you said "yes", then make sure they are definitly back in the carbs and they are screwed down tight. If you said "No", then remove the pilots and clean them out with some carb cleaner folllowed by compressed air. Did you re-install the plastic "splash guard" thats underneath the main jets ?? ya prolly just have to turn the idle up...... get to work..... -denny
  21. thats some crazy shit, what the hell was yamaha thinkin when they put in that cheap plastic impeller . Iv heard other guys with melted ones, your not the only victim. I replaced mine with a billet one along time ago.
  22. aww man don't listen to these chumps, a big foam UNI filter is the only way to go. The added airflow aint worth the hassles of a K&N filter. K&N only for street drag racing, show quads and sand-mobiles. If you get dirty when you ride, then you want to go with a UNI or TwinAir foam.
  23. The electrical system need to be "grounded", this is done by a ground wire in your wiring harness, this ground wire bolts to your frame and grounds the system. The ground wire is attached at the rear of the quad, near the CDI box. I think that's where its located on a stock wiring harness, my harness has been cut and the ground wire doesnt attache in the stock position anymore. Anyways..... find the ground wire where it bolts to the frame and make sure there's no rust around anywhere, make sure the ground wire aint cracked up and inspect the connector that attaches the ground wire to the frame. Might be a good idea to clean the metal where the ground wire bolt goes. Was your stator removed ? Do you know what the "pickup coil" is and if it has been moved ?? Do you have the TORS on your carburetors ?? Did you try new sparkplugs, NGK B8ES gapped at .028-.031 Inspect things like the handlebar mounted on\off switch and the key switch. -denny
  24. Good info. what did you pay for a set of ebay'ed 450 calipers ??
