Ok folks I have a pile of nice Banshee parts that I'll be auctioning off right here on BHQ. Here's the deal, if your interested in an item then send me a PM(personal message) telling me the name of the part and how much you are willing to pay for the part. I will then post the highest offer price, but I will keep your name annomoymous until the end of the auction. Auction will end when I get no more offers. Any questions about the item being auction or rules about the auction just post your question in the thread and I'll reply ASAP. I accept PayPal, money orders or personal checks. What we're lookin' at here is one JL(James Lucky) billet aluminum kickstarter in a great used condition. Fully functional and ready to mount, this kicker is as trick as they come. There are a few knicks and scratches but nothing really ugly, just normal wear and tear. The kickstarter has been cleaned up and its ready to turn over your twin. They make these kickstarters in two styles, a cheaper and thinner model and a heavy duty thick model for those high compression motors, this kickstarter is the better\thicker model, its super light too, only weighs a few ounces. This kickstarter received the HOLYMAN "NO RATTLE" KICKSTARTER MOD and it NEVER rattles. Kicker comes with the mounting swivel peice, everything you see in the pictures. Im going to pre-state the shipping cost at a mere $5 bucks to anywhere in the USA. Anyone livin' out of the USA please reply and I'll getcha a shippin' quote. PARTING OUT MY YELLOW 404 BANSHEE ON EBAY VERY SOO
Meat replied to Meat's topic in Online Auction Watch
ok dudes iv been thinking and Iv got an idea. First of all, Iv been literally swamped with Pm's and emails asking about parts, I havent been replying back to anyone because I havent made up my mind on how I should part this quad out. So it seems there's plenty of interest right here on these forums for the majority of my aftermarket parts, so I could prolly save some time and money by selling some stuff here to you guys\girls Now onto my idea. Lets try to sell this stuff Ebay style without using Ebay. Here's what Im thinking. Sometime VERY soon after the memorial day holiday, I'll post a part here in this thread that everyone can bid on. How to bid ? You send me a PM with the part name in the subject line and then tell me how much you wish to bid. I will then update the thread with the current high bid price but I won't include the high bidders user name until the auction is over. Prolly make the auctions 5 or 7 days long, I'll be sure to post an end date for bidding with each item. I will be able to post a crapload of pictures of each part and answer any and all questions pertainin' to said part More than likely... the first item will be my Roll Design foot pegs. I'll also pre-state all the shipping costs. Some bigger\expensiver' parts might get a free soupie sent with the part ! Im a big PayPal fan and prefer PayPal, but I'm not picky.... money orders and checks are cool too. I might even take a trade on some parts . Im 90% sure I'll be parting out the motor and not selling it complete. I have enough Banshee parts to build 2 more complete Banshees, plus a shitload more of aftermarket parts.... like a set of AC Propegs, a sweet RZ350 motor with RZ forks and drum, a brand new set of blue front fenders, extra seat, two frames, brand new EBC clutch, billet parts out the ying yang. I'll post back with the first auction soon after this upcoming weekend, so fire up your wallets and lets sell some of this stuff. -
PARTING OUT MY YELLOW 404 BANSHEE ON EBAY VERY SOO
Meat replied to Meat's topic in Online Auction Watch
no I dont have any stock headlights and the billet kickstarter.... well I was going to put everything on Ebay. Maybe I should just start sellin' stuff here instead of going through Ebay. Let me think about that... maybe I'll just skip the Ebay route and hook up BHQ directly. Sandman, I usually don't ride much on the weekends because I only get my son on the weekends, but I'm gonna get out for a few hour on mem. day. Look for me at Coal Hill on an all red 250r with a black carbon fiber hood and a yellow and black helmet. -
hey folks im going to part out my yellow Banshee in the upcoming weeks. I just wanted to post a few pictures of the quad now so I drum up some interest in the auctions. I plan on starting parting it out the first week in June. Most of the quad is aftermarket, there's little left thats stock. All parts are in great shape. Parts list off the top of my head: Pro-Taper bars. The engine has Vito's 404 sleeves installed and its still on its first bore. Its right around 392 cc's right now. Juggs have a "motorcross" portjob, all ports were ported. modded shift star, billet impeller. Nosshead anodized red Janssen MXTech A-arms, chrome, +2+1. Janssen MXTech -2 swingarm. chrome. stainless steel brake lines all the way around. gusseted frame. 1999 year. Billet kickstarter Hinson billet brake lever FMF Fatty pipes\PC II silencers all the stock parts like radiator hoses, seat, brake calipers and shit like that. Any questions please don't be afraid to ask me here or email me at [email protected] The whole quad is going to go.... I'll post the auction URLs as I get em listed. Here's the quad.... fire up your wallet.

Yo yo yo.... how the hell are yas doin !? Last year at this time me and a few buddies were working hard for the first CoalFest ride and despite the rainfest all day Saturday, the event turned out pretty good. That Sunday at Coal Hill was awsome, musta been 100+ people riding at Coal Hill and we had our BansheeHQ crew there terrorizing the hills. I'd love to get everyone back again this year for CF2. I think alot of guys who came last year really cant appreciate how much terrain there is to ride because of all the rain and mud kept us close to camp. Memorial day weekend. Im going to bet the cops will be all over the place that weekend. You guys all decide on a weekend date and I'll be there to help organize and show you guys around the place. My biggest concern last year was being busted by the police for riding\camping on private property. Just so everyone knows, things are still the same, its private property so you'll be there at your own risk. No littering ! Last years CoalFest Camp was pretty damn clean after everyone went home. Thanks for keeping it clean. Me and RustyRider\Del went around and picked up any garbage that was left behind. There was alteast 2 seperate camps that left a nice pile of garbage behind. This time we'll let everyone know who left the garbage behide so they can get harassed by everyone who keep a clean camp. "The Mile" and the "green grassys" area at the Shamokin end of the strippins is now heavily patroled. Former pennsylvania senator Ed Helfrick bought a shitload of land surrounding the Mile and he and his goons are being assholes and arresting riders who cross into his land . His land that we've been riding on for 30 years before he bought it . He's leased the land to a coal company that is completly draining "the Mile" to gain access to a big vein of coal at the bottom of the pit. So we lost a shitload of land to ride. This area is a good 4 miles east of last years camp so we don't have to worry about camping too close, its just ashame we lost all that land to ride. I still think where we had camp last year, at the big shovel, is still the ideal place to camp. Ya just gotta love the big strippin' pit right next to camp, or should I say "big DRAG strippin" pit .

Been thinkin' all day long about this, and yea im just gonna bow out here folks. Its been a fun ride. Iv started coming here when there were only a handfull of members and seen the place grow to what it is today. I learned alot and met some very interesting people. I'll be back around in the near future to sell a few Banshee parts that I wanna sell off. Lee thanks for the forum and all. I have a pretty busy schedule anymore, so I shouldnt be spending my time on the internet, riding season starts soon anyways . There's so many people I should say goodbye too, but I'm just not in the mood. I'll miss all the different personalities the most.

http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=36248 Read this thread I posted from top to bottom. Look at my post times and when I edited. THey're edited only minutes after I posted and the editing was just basic re-wording, spell checkin' type of editing. Are you tryin to say, that posted some "digs" at you.... then 5 mintues later I edited em out ? I don't think so. Everyone please read that thread and tell me what I said, or what "coy" way I said things, what inuendo's was I throwing out ?? Again you harp on Banshee's front end's not right for LT, and if you would read that thread that started it, I agreed from day one that Banshee's and long travel won't work. That was never an issue. But still you think... that I think... Banshee's can bolt up LT arms and be true longtravel. Read what I wrote in those replies. Check the times I posted, check the edit times. There's no secret vendetta towards you...... your being too paranoid. And even if there was some "digging" in your eyes, what kinda sissy freaks out over something like that ?? Where I'm from, if a guy busts your balls, you bust him back, smile and move on. I didn't realize your so emotional The second longtravel thread... I dont have the URL for. But if I remember ritght, I tired to keep the conversation light hearted, then you went off on me first, about "my boys at Janssen" and bashing Janssen Racing. I got mad at wrote some shit right back at you, which I later edited and saying... I didnt want to argue and I apologized for getting your panites in a knot..... which you just ignored anyways. Brooke. Let me get this straight, you believe I have an alterier(sp) motive and that I'm secretly plotting agaist Walter by sneaking in coy digs at him... in my sneaky sneaky way that I coy'ly throw digs. What do you think my motive is ?? Let me tell you "darling", there is NO motive, just like I said before. I was not being coy, and I was not trying to even argue about the subject. I agreed with everything Walt said and no one even picked up on that . I guess that agreement with him came off as being coy and sneaky too.... and all part of my big plot to take over the world. I realize at your young age, you think you know everything. You don't. You don't know me, you don't my motives. When I said my replies were sincere, I meant it. I'v came to these forums at its very infancy 5 years ago and for 5 years all I ever did was enjoy helping others and sharing ideas. Every day for 5 years I'v been replying to fellow members and I always have a smile on my face when doing it. I would do anything for the people here. And now I'm the asshole, worthless liberal who threw secret jabs and digs that wouldnt bother a 5 year old little girl. I'v always thought to myself, when these forums are not any more fun, I'll quit wasting my time on em. Fuckit, maybe its time I should go. Its a no win situation for me.

mine, a JL damper, mounts to the steerin' stem and the front motor mounts.
-
Nug, neither the Banshee nor the Blaster have any rebound adjusters on thier front shocks, but the Banshee does have rebound adjustment on its rear shock, im not sure if the Blaster's rear is rebound adjustable. The rebound adjuster is found at the bottom of the shock.
-
Absolutly let us know what happens.

These wires\plugs are located where ? near the carbs ?

First of all there's nothing wrong with the Vito's hemihead, but we have a forum sponser here named Noss Machine. David Noss is the owner and a regular contributer to these forum. The vast majority of Banshee owners on this forum run a Noss head on their Banshees. David is always here to help owners of his heads. His customer support is unmatched by anyone selling any ATV parts that I'v ever seen. Supporting our sponsors supports the BansheeHQ . Dome sizes. A stock Banshee heads dome are something like 24cc's. You can buy domes as small as 15cc's and anywhere inbetween. Rule of thumb says 19cc's and lower will require high octane "race gas". The $6 dollar a gallon stuff. 20, 21, 22, 23, 24cc domes will work with pump gas. Run the high octane (93\94 octane) gas when your using 20cc domes. The smaller the dome you run, the more cylinder compression you will get. So there's the basic dome info, you'll need to choose the dome size you'd think is best for your situation. I wouldnt go under 20cc's without having a "built" motor, meaing..... porting work and crankshaft mods. 20cc's will give you quite a good kick in ass compared to the stock head. http://www.nossmachine.com

wont work. not sure what the reason is, but they're incompatable.

I bought a set for my 250r and they're really nice tie rods. I bought thier "X-Series" tho, they're $50 bucks more for the X-series. I havent put them through the torture test yet tho, so I don't know how long they'll last. Sredish runs the same ones on his Banshee. One thing that does suck about em is, there's no flat spot on the tie rods to put a wrench on em, so when your adjusting your toe, you gotta spin the tie rods with your hands, there's no where to put a wrench on em. They turn by hand, but the deeper the tie rods get into the Heim's the harder it was to turn em. I finished adjusting them by turning them with a rag and a pair of pliers. Not sure why they'd make em without flat spots for a wrench

Hey folks, I wanna sweeten the deal here a little. If anyone here is the winning bidder, please contact me at the end of the auction and specifically tell me your a member at BansheeHQ. What I'll do for the BHQ members is... give you 30 days from the end date of the auction to have the crankshaft inspected by the engine builder of your choice. If your guy finds the crank unsuitable to use, I will refund your money. You gotta pay for the return shipping and the crank inspection tho. 30 day warrenty, and im not going to buy back the crank without proof you had it inspected and it failed the tolerance tests. I'm not going to buy back the crank because you decided you "really didnt need it". You'll need to have it inspected and the crankshaft fail specs and tolerance tests for a refund. Im hoping to lure bidders who are a lil' nervous about buying a used crankshaft. -denny

Thank god someone sees my side of the story. Ben your comment is sooo appreciated. When I made the comment about Gibsons long travel arms being expensive, I didnt even realize it would upset Walter. It was just an off the cuff comment, but I think B370 took it as a jab at him. He said "i was taking digs at him" and man I wasnt. I don't dislike anyone, anyone who knows me knows im very laid back and not much upsets me. Dunedemon I wont let it go until I feel that I'm not being made out as the bad guy here. This situation bother the fuck outta me, why am I being portrade as the asshole. Look what Loco said when he wrote... " he was sick of the retards here". That bothers me. I think when people read these forums, they can't really get a good gauge for other peoples intentions. Walt took some of the stuff I said as jabs aimed for him, when in reality my posts were NEVER meant to fire him up. I even wrote that I love Gibsons product line and that I should have said "all LT A-arms are expensive". Walt, again im going to say that I'm sorry for firing you up, and my comments were never meant as "digs" towards you. This is the second time I offer my apoligies. I can agree to disagree but frankly I'd like an apoligy back. I'm done with this subject, I don't need more people pissed at me.
-
You dont' have to PM therail. I'd say im one of the reason's he don't post here anymore. We had words. I really fired him up, not exactly sure why he couldnt talk civilized to me like he's done for years. I guess it all started when I said Gibson's A-arms were expensive($1300 a set). Guess I should pointed out another brand named A-arms to call expensive, but the topic was about Gibson, you all know how he's freindly with the K&K boyz. My claim was that I thought Gibson's arms were expensive compared regular travel A-arms, they're nearly 3 times as expensive for long travel A-arms. For some guys $1300 is nothing, but this blue collar worker its alot of money and I guess that fired him up. Thats when I got the tounge lashing and the lecture on how business work all from I guy who Iv been freindly with for years and never argued once with before this. I still say $1300 is alot of money, accecpt that as my opinion and give me some respect for it. I agreed that his "why Gibson's A-arms cost $1300" tantrum speech made sense and I APOLIGEZED to him in the same thread and said I didnt realize all the things that factor into the final price..... but $1300 is still expensive for alot of guys..... and besides Gibson doesnt even make any arms to fit a Banshee. Thats when he popped a blood vessel and freaked out on me and Janssen Racing, which was totally uncalled for. We have different points of view, I gave him the benifit of the doubt and the respect he deserved by apoligizing and he gave me NO respect and hammered me and Janssen racing. I don't even know why he attaches Janssen and me in the first place. Just cause I use Janssen A-arms I guess. So I said fuck it, I kissed ass once and got more slack from him. I won't kiss ass twice. I gotta watch what I say so I don't step on peoples egos ?? Iv asked him NUMEROUS time "what did I say that was soo damn bad?" Nearly every day, guy post on all the atv forums asking why aftermarket parts cost so damn much, they mention names too. People ask questions about long travel on Banshees all the time and they don't get the disrespect I got, they don't get the yelled at like a newbie. Now I can't reply to anything Gibson and long travel related because I gotta watch my words so I don't offend walter ??? I'm supposed to know everything there is to know about long travel Banshee suspension and asking questions and challenging theories is considered disrespectful ?? Man, walter's never done this to anyone ever in the past. I had questions about long travel suspension on Banshees and just because I wasnt satisfied with "it cant' be done"... I guess that pissed him off. When 15 other guys asked why it cant be done and there was theorys on how it can be done..... they didn't get the wrath I got when I questioned it. I guess Im supposed to know better. I guess Im not supposed to ask questions. I guess my long travel questions seemed like I was bashing him or Gibson. who the hell knows. Im still not sure why my questions offended him so much, iv asked him why we can't argue civilized. He decided to split. Plus onto of the long travel arguement, he told me he barely rides his Banshee anymore.... guess he's not into the sport as much as in the past.
-
Agreed. You can buy a used stator on Ebay for under a hundred bucks and they're VERY easy to install.......... altho I got the feeling you'll never get the flywheel off by yourself
-
Boy I missed that one. Someone wanna tell me what it was all about??
