yea $2500 seems fair to me only because of the big motor work that was just done to it. Sounds like the motor just got rebuilt and NOT ported. If the quad didn't have that recent motor work, I would say 2500 is too much, and shoot for the 2000 price. The quad looks solid and the fresh motor is nice to have. I wouldnt be too concerned over the bore size, there's few more bores left in that jugg and you'll prolly never need to use them.

I really didn't know the guy very well, we didn't talk very often. I have read some of his stuff and he's definitely a wild one. This old forum is known for NOT banning members. I can only remember a handful of bannings and they were all justifiable. I think only a few things should constitute banning. Threatening the forum software is one of those good reasons. And I totally dig the idea that Loco asked for the forum's opinions. We are lucky that our head guy has enough humility and respect for us that he would ask for our opinions. It also gives Hillclimbr and his friends an opportunity to say what they think. Some of the guys that were saying that "Loco doesn't represent the BHQ very good because of his attitude". I remember Loco once saying that if he had to change the way he spoke, that he didn't want his moderator job anymore. I think that is 100% the right attitude. Who the hell wants to come to a forum and NOT be yourself just for the sake of other peoples opinions. What you see is what you get. This is my take on the "loco spamming comment" situation. I really didn't follow this particular argument that close, a lot of the story was never stored in the memory, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Those who say that "loco sent people to spam HC first". The claim is wrong because its taken out of context. Yes, loco said something along those lines, but in context you would know that the past history had these guys busting each others balls all the time, and there was plenty of normal, calm conversations too. The majority of it was harmless fun . HC dished it out and Loco dished it out and it was all fun to read. So one day, there's another thread where HC and Loco start ball busting each other like usual.... and Loco said something like "send spammers at HC" and that was fine and funny, a bunch of smiley were used..... HC busted on Loco's some more and everyone was fine and it seemed very harmless to me. A few days later HC's forum get some spammers or something, and immediately its assumed that Loco sent spam-people to attack HC's forum. Is there any real proof ? Did Loco actually get that mad at HC that he went to some place on the internet where you can sign up forum's to receive spam, and sign up HC's site ? I really don't think so. Im not convinced. I think HC's spam problems and Loco's spam comment were a coincidence. I think every forum gets spammers and hackers fucking around. This forum gets em, why wouldn't HC's forum get em ? It happens, its the internet. There's no secret Loco-spam-plot to destroy HC's forum. Loco's spam comment to HC was an off-the-cuff remark with obvious comedic intentions and very clearly not a real threat. HC's recent threat was not made as an off-the-cuff, ball-busting remark in the middle of an obscure thread. Instead it was a direct and clear threat. When people argue on the internet its usually harmless, but there are moral lines that adults don't cross. I think the line has been crossed. And like Loco said, its not the first time its been crossed. I had to think about it, but I voted to ban him. I think if his IP addy is banned, he shouldn't be able to sign up under a different user name.

K&N filters are designed for on-road use, not the dusty, sandy, dirty environments that we ride. Some folks will look at the K&N's higher price and assume that its far superior to a cheap peaces of foam. If its costs more, its HAS to be better. And I think a lot of K&N's were sold under that premise. And Im positive that the K&N does filter dirt and sand, but my hunch is foam does it better.

Soldiers vote. Democracy chose peace. According to official records, Ron Paul received more military campaign contributions than all the other Republicans combined. Ron Paul ran on the platform that the Iraq war was always wrong, it was a huge mistake, a financial fiasco, illegal, it made our country LESS safe and he would stop the Iraq war. So there's a good healty amount of soldiers who don't believe the Iraqi war is justified.

You should also reply back with what jets you currently have in the carb and some details on the air filter system you have.

I was there at 2:30ish. It was only Johnsy, the local cop. He was parked at the hill where everyone always parks and was talking to a group of riders. Didn't seem to be busting any balls, he was just checking out the scene. We were there for an hour and when we left, he was no where to be seen. I was there in my Jeep.

Are you guys planning on camping ? we always called the land "the strippins". Anyways, the strippins were packed with offroaders this past weekend. easily 200 trucks and trailers. The area I call "the flats" was bumper to bumper with parked vehicles. It was crazy. I don't think Iv ever seen so many people, this early in the season. I bought a permit from Reading about 2 months ago. The cops were at Coal Hill on sunday. Coal Hill was jam packed.
