I usually run yamaha or honda trans oil on my trail banshee and ATF type F on my drag banshee. But a friend of mine told me to use 10w30 or 5w20 standard motor Oil on stock banshee tranny. I do a couple of research on the forum and find a couple of topic, but not exactly what i want. I want to know if the standard motor will may hurt something. I know motor oil contain detergent, may have problem with this? 10w30 or 5w20 for trail riding and open log road riding? How often for Oil change? I have a gallon or so of castrol GTX 10w30 in my garage, this oil probably do the job? thank you

I looking for some input to compare the conventional lockup style (Direct drive, matoon, modquad etc) VS the slingshot,vito...style lockup. I think for the price, the slingshot is best, but for tuning? With no quick cover, it's more complicated... I see a couple of cheetah on the dyno, with many kind of pipe. a 421 cheetah drag ported on alky with oof cpi as 100rwhp (dynojet dyno) a 472 cheetah on gas (50/50) with inframe CPI around +/- 85rwhp a 421 cheetah on gas (pump), with t5, small carb run in the 75+ area I thing you need to have around 75 or more with your actual setup Do you have one or two 38 carb?

maybe you have a lil gasket thickness variation, maybe explain a part of the 0,053 vs 0,050

If you send the cub to millenium, you are able to put a larger layer of nikasil, and run 64,50 piston on that. A guy in my area do a thing like that for a motor and dowsized the bore by 0,5.

A week ago, at the truck pull show in my area, the guy race his banshee vs 2007 gsx-r 1000 The track have 887 feet GSX-R ET: 9.002 MPH: 101.71 BANSHEE ET: 9.739 MPH: 86.72 I think with this time, noway this guy have 120hp What do you think?
