  2. Hi, I just want to know how much compression you useally run in your drag bike (alky or gas please specify). I actually test my new engine and i think my engine get retarted by high compression.... I'm actually at 215 psi and i run av gas or c12. I see many compression number on this site...150-160-175 psi of compression on alky bike.. If any as try different compression for track time or dynoed the same bike at different compression, let me know... Thank you..
  3. I actually planning my winter project I want to know the performance between a 10 and a 14mill 68mm cub (465 vs 493). I want to know the difference for the case...For 10 mill i think we have to trench, but no weld and 14 mill =have to weld the case...but i'm not sure... I think 14mill need 125 rod crank and 10 mill 115 rod...but... What kind of piston both set-up run? price difference for trench, crank. cub....etc... Carb size needed for both set-up etc... I think my PD cool head do the job on both set-up, but i'm not sure for the 14mill. Thank bansheeqc

Lock up cover and lock up billet clutch basket maybe a straigth gear pro design impeller cub (421 or maybe 358) Maybe spindle mount with brake assembly rear aluminium drag axle (40mm) 40mm carriers chromoly round house swing arm +4 or +6 If you have good deal, let me know... thank you

I want a affordable set up I actually have vf3, prodesign cool head, shearer inframe sb sf pipe and a set of outframe pipe If i go wtih the super cub, i'm obligated to change my head, but with cub no with 10 mill i have to change my crank and trench the case, but i think 10mill cub outrun 4 mill supercub. i have keihin 36 and lectron 40, i want to use this carbs. I dont want to change all my set up aroud, it's why i want cub or supercub... It's possible to run a 10mill 68mm cub on gas with keihin 36 and shearer inframe sb sf for play drag (on my track) and switch to 40 lectron, alky oof pipe and smaller dome for weekend drag? I know it's not the best set up, but i think it's run.. If i going with 10 mill cub setup, i have to trench the case, buy new crank sol my 4mill crank, buy a cub and a set of dome for my cool head, or run with my actual dome. if i going with 4mill supercub, i have to trench the case (for the larger sleeve), buy new head and sol my old head, and by the cub, i think i slighly the same cost: what do you think about that? for hp, what it's the best? thank you..

I want more power and I think about three set-up. 1) 4mill 68mm cub drag ported (421cc) 2) 4mill 72mm super cub drag ported (472cc) (Sell my cool head for another 72mm big bore) or sell my +4mm +5mm rod hot rod crank and buy a 10mill for: 3) 10 mill 68mm cub clean up port (465cc) 4) 10 mill 68mm cub drag ported (465cc) It

  19. Flotek I dont check the rpm on the dyno graph, but all rpm i told it's on my trail tech vapor computer.. but if it's easy for you to answear my question if i told:
  20. but why my vapor show 10xxx before and 11xxx after? Why i gain rpm with windowed my piston? Same engine,same pipe,same gas...
  21. i think it's high for T5, but my vapor show 11300 with t5 and 11500 with shearer. If shear show 12000 rpm, i think my vapor it's not correct, but at 11500 i think it's okay..Why my vapor could not show the real rpm with t5, but the real with shear??
  22. lol, it's not just my piston ported, but my cylinder also It's on my stock stroke dag bike, with heavy ported cylinders. but my piston are stock, and i decided to port the window of my piston to match my intake port on my cylinder.
  23. I solve my compression probleme. My compression tester as a probleme. I'm actually at 180 psi both cylinder. My bike are now jetted 185 and run very hard. Yes my engine rev at 11300 with supreme gaz+nitromethane , but drop a 10800 with avgaz 100LL. I try shearer this weekend, and, my max rev it's at 11500 rpm (shearer inframe). But with T5 pipe, my bike do best run. My motor as some big port and are dynoed at 80 hp on gas. I probably try alky next week-end. jbooker82: Bigger ports = less velocity so your probably not getting as much air in to the motor. Or the skirt broke and that caused the compression drop. Most people dont opean the windows of the pistons up because it weakens the skirts. There is no way your turning 11300 rpm with T5's It's common to broke the skirt of the piston with larger piston hole?, I dont know a lot about piston window, but i'm thinking all builder open this window...
  24. It's a system with a captor on front of the bike, and two little stick, at each end of the track. When you past at the first stick, the stopwatch star, and when you arrive at the end, at the other stick, the stop watch stop. With this system, you are able to set-up you're bike, fast as possible, for a track. bansheeqc
