  1. stock dunlop-----probably for sand drag
  2. I actually looking for a set of carb for a 4mill cub. i think about 39 to 41 mm keihin carb or lectron carb. what is the best setup??? billet bowl, powerjet. i think alky keihin not run on gas...but lectron run with little change... what is the best choice.
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-Custom...101598QQptZATVs 68 mill carb??? 68 x 7mill =525cc wtf??? overdrive or override tranny???? i think, this guy know a lot his bike!
  4. how much for the three piece kit?
  5. welcome to BHQ, nice shee. It's what is fun with banshee...so many upgrade possible...
  6. It's a cheetah PV with a special powervalve kit (standard it's like a rotax and this powervalve are close to arctic cat powervalve... Probably really easy to made a kit like that with the use of some custom machined part, and cost really less than 2500...But i don't think this setup are best than the original rotax style powervalve with less mechanical setup.
  7. now only if i could figure out how to rebuild my kicker.. What what do you mean
  8. Thank you everyone. I really want to stay with stock cylinder and have the sleeper look, I want a hard running bike, with the appearence of a stock motor. I dont have 7mill crank now, but i probably buy one soon. I already have a 4mill bike, and i want to try something different. bansheeqc
  9. Hi everyone! I have a couple of question about 7mill (115 rod)crank on stock cylinder. -For drop a 7mill crank on my case, i need to trench my case (i think)? -I'm able to run cylinder without a plate welded on the top of the cylinder? -I'm able to run cylinder without base plate with custom cut dome for the stroke? In fact, what is the difference between drop a 4mill and a 7mill crank except the case trenching and the porting? (for a stock cylinder motor). thank you everyone bansheeqc
  10. Cub all the way: more power, best reputation, best re-sale value and just little bit more expensive. vito's need porting go with cub.... bansheeqc
  11. thank you, It's for a friend of mine, i want a powerful all around motor...and i think it's the best setup... I will check on for sale section. bansheeqc
  12. Thank everyone for feedback and information... I probably stay with small bore pipe bansheeqc
  13. what is a good price for a used cheetah kit for a 4mill or stock crank (400 to 485 cheetah kit) (cylinder, powervalve, head, dome reed, intake,(all the kit less the crank..)? thank you, bansheeqc
  14. 33 or 35 pwk carbs with clamp on filter and intake for the carb, (size depend of what you planned for the future), CPI pipe (really great pipe for duning) and a little bit more compression (maybe 19cc domes)
  15. The ebay cylinder have not many bore left on them, and the risk of failure on the intake side are high because of the kind of port job... This cylinders are probably not your best bet... If you going with 4mill and ported, you probably need bigger carb (with pod and intake), cool head with cut dome, v-force or 2 stage carbon reed, and a good set of pipe. An another possibility for you it's a stock stroke cub (358 or 392cc). If you going this way, get your stock crank pinned and welded. This set up need also the same thing (carb, pipe, reed). Your stock head is bolt-on on the 358 and have to be machined to fit larger bore in the 392 (i think). Talk do a good builder like F.A.S.T. or HJR, : They know what they talk about! They are able to find the best setup for your kind of riding and with accordance with the amount of money you want to spend.
  16. If you want absolutely a cub for to do trail ... Run 2 X 33mm PWK with 2 pods filters with outerwear or 28..but 28mm are probably a little small for a cub. Run low end pipe like pro circuit or PT mild. Run 22 or 21 cc dome, depend on your elevation to take compression low...to run pump gas... bansheeqc
  17. T6 pipe are not the best pipe ever made...For your type of riding and your mods, i think CPI pipe are best compare to shearer pipe (more mid then shearer, and decent top end). You may check at rocket pipe and T5 pipe also. bansheeqc
  18. Anyone have any information about use of big bore OOF pipe on a 4mill stk cylinder drag ported engine on alky with 39pwk??? I actually a guy i know want to sell CPI big bore small flange OOF drag pipe chromed. Do you think this pipe produce good power on a 4mill small bore motor on alky??? thank you guys!!! bansheeqc
  19. For me, Procircuit pipe are the best pipe for a stock to lightly modified motor. You gain low to top power and the bike pull hard (for a stock motor  ). The PC pipe are great for all type of riding.I personnaly test T5, procircuit, dmc, sst and T6. T5 are really good pipe, but little less than procircuit for a stock engine (according to me) DMC are close to T5. T6 not made the result i'm waiting for. bansheeqc
  20. A buddy of me has a kit like that on his banshee, and the engine have hard time to run with this kit. Depend of the kind of track, the track ratio have 50, 70 ou 100% ratio compare to tire. My buddy have the 100% (same speed compare to 22" tire hand with 12 teeth from spocket, he the max speed he was able to take it's the 5. The banshee don't have enough horsepower and torque to run track because a track need more power compare to a tire to rotate, and the track don't spin like a tire. To run track easy, you need 70 hp minimum and more torque, and if you're banshee it's modified to 70hp, the engine don't support the need of constance horsepower. -------If i want to go on snow, i get a sled!
  21. A friend of mine has a 472 supercub ported for drag race and he want to put a set of stock cylinder on this motor for the winter. But the case it's machined to accept 72mm sleeve...Do you think he are able to run stock cylinder or the casing are too large to run stock cylinder? thank you
  22. Thank you for everyone for the precious information! KEVSWS6:thank for all the info and the way to calculate the compression ratio. I check all thing this weekend and i post news. bansheeqc
  23. how to mesure compression ratio on my motor? And i think squish it's the think i mesure with a little tin wire, into the cylinder (by plug hole) and i measure the tin wire tickness after (piston clearence with the piston)but if it's not this think, how to measure this think and what it's squish band? thank you
