  1. +7mm and bigger you need case work, +4mm willl bolt straight in, ( if you are unlucky, you may have to clearance the case near the deck for the rods to swing, but most drop in) lots of cranks around, look at the sponsors on here, they have good prices and good parts, and they will help you out. are you going to port your engine as well ? porting is awesome. if your bike is stock, id just get your cylinders ported, that will make much much more difference than to have a stock port 4mm stroker. keep up with a cr500 ? im guessing a cr500 would be around the 50hp mark on a bike thats half the weight of your quad. youll need a nice ported 4mm to keep up.
  2. thats a big clearance man, i got pissy because mine came in at .015" wiseco always have loose ring gaps, i wish they were tight so i could file fit. performance wont be 100% and when it starts to wear its only going to get looser, may even snag a ring. i wouldnt do it haha, your there, its easy, get some rings .
  3. 1st thing was, port for stock stroke when i should have just done the 4mm. 2nd thing was buy oko 30 carbs.
  4. good. get it together and tell us.
  5. hey man, i reckon 35's would be sweet on it, my reasoning, just because haha. id speak to redline racing, they are a sponsor on BHQ and know whats best for that motor. but with those T5's on that engine, you could run stock carbs. you next big gain for that cub is a set of better flowing pipes.
  6. thanx for the dyno time and different pipe runs...
  7. no the serval isnt different to the cheetah cub, the pic far right is a serval. yeh the boost ports are added to the stock cylinder's
  8. far left is stock, 2nd is ported stock 3rd is cub 4th is stock ported with boost ports. the more air you can get into your engine the better, thats why they (pro porters) add the "boost ports / worm holes" to stock cylinders (pic 4 (bottom pic)) when porting for max power. they can also do the same to the exhaust, so you have one main port then 2 either side on the exhaust, because you need to get all the air out as well !!. the 3rd pic, the cub. is an after market cast cylinder for the banshee, that has 3 inlet ports and 3 exhaust ports, these cylinder are made to flow well for good hp.
  9. were you accidently putting your hoof on the brake lever while riding ?, if everything has free travel and the disk can move freely, it has to be that. you can adjust the lever so you dont step on it.
  10. ceramic coating keeps the heat in. the best thing for cooling, is bare metal. i havent tried the above coating link tho.....
  11. i had mine painted, ive done it before without any issue.
  12. in the drag forum there is heaps of times. so many variable's in racing, the best thing to do is see how you do on your bike at your track.
  13. just got some stg 3 hotcams for the banshee.

  14. stock bore size orings will fit 68mm dome oring recesses . just give em a lil bit of a stretch.
  15. is that a crack in the first pic ? i think the centre piece is too thin.. id buy new cages...... i dont think we need to quote every pic either.
  16. all that for 260 !!, id be scared to see what its made of. id spend around 260 just on a helmet.
  17. thats ok, just wanted to compare. your running less chamber cc, more timing and less octane gas. so im pretty dam safe !.
  18. nice one forcefed !!! you have highish cranking compression as well and +5 on the plate with 93. that makes me feel better, i though these things didnt like either (comp and timing). what cc are your domes ?
  19. but do you want it because its in a cool box or something else ? seems like its just an over priced stock banshee, thats in a box haha. 8k is what you pay for them here anyway, id rather the black/ yellow anniversary edition, and still its a stock banshee with yellow/black fenders. blah, i wasted 8k on a new bike, fuk doing that again haha.
  20. i couldnt get mine perfect either. i went from the same 330/25 (hjr dune port/ 350cc /t5s) and with the okos it ran pretty good with 155/45 n80f needle at middle clip. but i had a miss at 4200rpm -5200rpm. i tried everything but with any jet/needle hight/ float hight anything, it would not change that miss. took it to the dyno and he stuck in 150/55 jets, and it was the same, and had that same miss ( he said it was the porting and i have to get used to it) haha douche. i stuck the stock carbs back on, and it has been great. fuck oko carbs haha.
  21. make a mount to bolt to the base studs, and a mount to bolt to the trans drain plug , two ropes, two truck, 1 - 2 - 3.........
  22. depends on the surface and traction, on road surface or with paddles youll beat him buy a decent amount, but on dirt, ye ol banshees fails at traction. you prolly pass him in 6th gear haha.
  23. probably not a good time to decide not to wear that helmet, seeing you usually do haha. if a car or dog or anything ran out, you'd be fucked. good times sounds ok, but you need a dry surface, cause its wet the wheels are spinning like crazy so there is less load on the engine. it does seem to bog down in a rush a bit when the revs drop.
