  3. do you want a higher top speed or make it quicker to get to top speed ? 16t front sprocket is pretty big for a stock motor, it must feel a bit sluggish down low ?. as said, a cool head (or rechambered stocker) for added compression and a timing plate to up the timing (must use 94oct fuel , but depends on how much added timing and compression) ditch the boost bottle as they are a good for nothing and can cause your intake boots to crack.. how much do you want to spend ?
  4. if your going to pay a machine shop to do it, you may as well get kevin to do it, or at least call up and get a price. all the snap rings and washers have to go on a specific way n shit too. its worth it on a stock bike
  5. i thought they were pretty close to the shearers, is it a big difference ? hmmmm they would go pretty good on some serval cylinders then, i might look into them, instead of some shearers.

  8. you can do a leak down test on it now, to see if a seal is blown, or just strip it down and inspect the cylinders.
  9. ^yep ! you will be happy with any, as jbooker said, call a few up and see whos voice you like the most i had HJR do my porting, and i am very happy with it, and his turn around time is dam fast.
  10. octane booster is shit, so dont ever use it. it could have blown up due to a lean oil/gas ratio, if you are going to add booster, do it before you add pre mix, so when you do add premix its to the total amount of gas/booster. but just buy some good fuel, octane booster is nothing more than a dodgy "fix" 400 is pretty good man !! post some pix up. dunno what could be wrong, gota strip n see.
  11. same, thats free hp. i think its different with stock cylinders than after market cylinders as retrieved hp goes, as the serval transfers are bigger than stock. so they may be a bigger increase than 2-3hp. id do it... SOS: when porting for a cub or a maxed stock cly, the base gasket transfer area gets a bit skinny, so you epoxy the outer sides of the transfer, so there is more surface area for the base gasket to seal between the case and the cylinder.
  12. yep, everything 06 said, but with the timing, its all dependent on what fuel you run, your elevation and compression. +4 seems to be pretty safe on 94 pump gas on 21/20 cc domes @ sea level. porting is going to get you infront, so try work towards that, a dune ported, stock carbed, T5'd with increased compression and ignition advance (timing plate) will make around 60-65hp so hit a sponsor up for that. and while your crank is out, you should get it trued and welded. i dont know what your budget is, but if you dont have enough, just keep saving till you do. talk to a sponsor, they will point you in the right direction.

  15. same thing bud ! meth is alc meth/alc is way less volatile than pump fuel, so you can run alot more timing and compression than pump fuel, the trade off is that you need double the amount of meth than you do fuel, hence why meth carbs have massive jets. with meth vehicles you also have to purge the engine, (run race gas or pump gas , through the engine before letting it sit after use)
  16. 260 main is fmf jetting with lid and snorkle on !, start at 280 if you running a fmf without the lid on your airbox.
  17. do i need to bring the exhuast port down 2mil and the intake up 2mil clearly you dont... get some one that does, to do the work.

  20. haha some times its to hot to ride here, but virtually can ride all year round. i dont think i could ever sell mine ( but ive had some cars i thought id never sell either)
