  1. Yes, rich is to much fuel. Since you werent running at WOT the mains don't come into play, try turning the air screws out some. Make sure you turn them both out the same amount
  2. Looks like your runnin pretty rich, the air screws you just screw in or out. In your case I would suggest turning them out 1-1.5 turns and see if it helps
  3. I havent been putting any oil on it, as it seems pretty well lubed from what it is throwing on my shee. All I did was clean the grime and dirt off from it and it started to fling it all over, i'll have to check into some good lube. Thanks guys, you are THE SHIT!!!
  4. Does anyone know how I can stop my chain from throwing it's oil all over my plastics and silencers, i'm gettin pretty tired that after every ride I have to clean the oil off and re-polish my silencer. Thanks
  5. Try taking off the brake reservoir cap and then pushing on the piston, it should relieve that pressure.
  6. Haha understandable, when ya get her home unveil that beast for us. We'll be waiting!!!
  7. If you want to save some money and not drop some serious dough on VF3's or rad valves, do like I did and buy the reeds and port your own stock cages. Cheap and easy power!! I noticed the power and response gain immediately If i'm correct all reeds will work with any style pipes, some have their preferences but it's different strokes for different folks
  8. Man if that were true, NYUK would be John Holmes
  9. Congrats on the find!! Where'd ya find her at???? Can't wait to see it!
  10. You guys are funny lol. I ride my shee all over the side of the road and straight on down it too, BUT I am lucky enough to live out in the country where there aren't that many popo's around to pop me I had one close call about 3 weeks ago while I was tunin my shee, me and a buddy were turning around in the ditch down the road from my house and I happened to glance up and saw a forest green crown vic coming right towards us and it was speeding up. I took off like a bat outta hell and my buddy followed suit, (He didn't know what I was doing at the time) luckily we got to my house and were around back by the time the vic had gotten to my driveway and slowed down. I was about shittin myself when we got back to the house, my buddy had NO clue why I took off so fast but luckily decided to follow me thinking something wasn't right. He was like WTF!!! when I told him. Nevertheless if I get popped, it's my own dumbass fault. I too think it's complete bullshit that we can't ride on the sides of the road "safely". Just my .02
  11. The stockers are some turd ass mofo's, they're heavy and restrictive. On the plus side they are very quiet, if you happen to come into some money keep an eye out on the HQ for some sweet deals and get rid of those pos's ASAP. I payed 50 bucks for the fatty's and silencers on my shee :woot:
  12. This was posted on the 18th of this month http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/mcy/802686165.html
  13. I paid 1,400 for mine. Bone stock motor never opened up, only trail ridden by a dude in his late 40's. It runs like a champ

  18. For the second and last time, I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO MOD THE STOCK PLATE NOT BUY ONE!!! I know it's so much easier to drop the 35 bones on an adjustable plate, if I wanted to buy one and not gain any knowledge I would have done that already. Now, for those who are willing to lend a hand please feel free.
  19. The whole point of this thread is so I can LEARN how to do this, not go out and buy one. I did some research on modded plates and people have been able to get +4 and +5 with the stocker, which is what most people seem to be running. How do I measure the mm that i have to take off the plate???
  20. I'm really interested in learning how to mod the stock timing plate to get +4, i've done my own porting on stock reed cages. I found that to be rather easy with the right tools on hand. Can anyone give me some how to advice and what tools I will be needing to do the job right or point me in the right direction of someone who does?.
  21. The only reason i've got the boyesens on there is because thats how i bought em, I payed 15 bucks for the reeds and cages and the porting I did myself. Cheap and easy, i've heard good things about the carbon tech reeds too. Thanks for the input
  22. Today I recieved my stock cages with boyesen reeds, I immediately took the petals off and ported the cages and they came out pretty clean. I took out my stock reeds and replaced them with the ported cages with boyesen's, i did have to adjust the air screws to get it to idle right. Will I have to change the needle position or the mains to compensate also????
  23. Got the reeds today!!!! Thanks alot man.
  24. Payment sent on reeds
  25. Ok i'm lookin to get +4 timing. Will aligning the holes with your adj. plate to +4 make it so the stocker will be the same at +4??? If so i'll take both the plate and reeds!! You did say you could use a friends paypal right???? I don't mess with money orders, if ya do shoot me their paypal addy and i'll get the payment to ya ASAP Thanks
